After their teammates kept giving away free kills and lost the Pistol Round,
Qin Feng remained relaxed.
From the start, he had never expected to lead four teammates into crushing Wings Up.
If his teammates deliberately threw, not even s1mple could stop them.
All he wanted was to create some uncertainty in a few key rounds.
The club owner had said before that they could go 2-13 in the First Half, claw it back to 14-14 in the Second Half, then lose two straight rounds and finish 14-16.
Once Qin Feng understood that, he was happy to take it easy.
When he saw his teammates all buying full armor and Desert Eagles in the second round, Qin Feng did not hesitate either. He picked up a CZ-75 and pushed up to a close angle in A2 Apartments.
This time, however, the Terrorists chose to rush B.
Life, hiding at White Car to defend B, saw Grenades raining down on B Site and immediately lowered his head like an ostrich.
"They're hitting B. I haven't seen the bomb, but there are tons of utility."
"It's an eco force-buy anyway. Everyone rotate B. If they switch to A, we'll just Save Guns."
Life made a rare correct call.
More importantly, he knew that even if his teammates pulled out their knives and sprinted toward B, they would still be too late to retake.
Sure enough, before Life had even finished speaking, JokerChild used a Mac-10 from B2 to instantly kill Life, who was still ducking for cover.
[Wings Up.JokerChild used MAC-10 to headshot TBD.Life]
"Don't rotate back. Just save."
"We'll still have four Desert Eagles next round. Maybe we can turn it around."
"B Site is already gone. Rotating now would just feed them free Mac-10 kills."
When Dark saw the notification that the bomb had been planted, he immediately gave up on retaking and ran toward the second floor of A.
The CTs chose to Save Guns.
However, those Desert Eagles they saved did not produce any miracle.
Facing the Terrorists' near-full buy A Site Execute, the score predictably became 0-3.
In the fourth round, the CTs did not have enough money to buy a Sniper Rifle.
Qin Feng picked up an M4 and stood behind the boxes at CT Booth, jumping to scout the Terrorists at the Exit Point.
But no one came out of A1.
Instead, the two teammates who chose to Push Forward through Mid were pinned down and killed by zzqq's Sniper Rifle at T Spawn.
After taking control of Mid, Wings Up's five players immediately chose to pinch B through Mid.
Life, alone at B Site near Sofa, killed a Terrorist coming out of B2 Apartments, only to be traded by chichichi from B Small.
Life continued calling for his teammates to Save Guns.
Qin Feng cooperated fully.
At least for now... it was not time for him to perform.
In the remaining rounds, TBD either gave up the opening kill at the start or had their site broken in a single Execute.
After the First Half ended, the score predictably reached 2-13.
However, because he had spent most of the time Saving Guns, Qin Feng's K/D was absurdly high instead.
11 kills, 5 deaths, 0 assists.
The massive gap between his stats and his teammates' also made the Livestream Room's chat erupt with complaints.
[What the hell kind of calling is TBD doing? Let me call, and I could gamble-stack B every round and win five points, right?]
[Wings Up: I'm playing default. TBD: I'm sending four to A.]
[I declare that Jame Time no longer exists. From now on, saving guns will be called—Aether Time!]
[Only one team gets a spot from the qualifiers anyway. They probably never planned on qualifying.]
[God A could stomp Wings Up even with randoms. Does that mean TBD's teammates are worse than Wan Ji Qi?]
[No coordination, no utility, no aim—but their skins are all complete sets.]
Yet TBD's team voice chat was still full of laughter.
"It's fine, it's fine. We're strong on the Terrorists side. We'll win it back in the Second Half."
"Two points are enough. Wings Up might not be able to hold even as CTs."
"Besides, this wasn't even our map pick."
The cheerful atmosphere was enough to make anyone think they had scored 13 points in the First Half.
But their cheerfulness was genuine.
They had originally worried that Qin Feng might bring some unexpected changes to the match.
Yet throughout the entire First Half, Qin Feng had looked like he was only protecting his K/D.
The Second Half Pistol Round began soon after.
Life called for an A hit.
They threw a Jump Smoke and a Connector Smoke, then charged straight at the CTs in CT Base.
The sudden tactic seemed to catch Wings Up off guard.
The CT in the headless position atop the CT Booth boxes was shot through three times by the Terrorists swinging out from A1.
[TBD.Dark used Glock-18 to headshot through a wall and kill Wings Up.Chichichi]
After quickly taking CT Base, Life chose to plant the bomb beneath the short boxes for CT Base.
And Wings Up's discipline from the First Half seemed to have vanished as well.
The four half-armored CTs all dry-swung into the retake, only to be picked apart one by one by TBD, who had already taken their positions.
The score became 3-13.
Ma Xixi and Mo became a little more interested.
"Congratulations, they've unlocked the achievement: Win the Match with 500 HP."
"Fortunately, TBD won the Pistol Round."
"So there's still a game to play, still something to watch."
"It's just that maps are too CT-sided now."
"Are two points really enough in the First Half?"
Clearly, Ma Xixi and Mo had no idea what was about to happen next.
After switching sides in the Second Half, Wings Up seemed to have lost their souls.
Whether TBD executed A or accelerated into B, Wings Up's players at the bomb sites were almost unable to trade kills.
Not to mention the pressure Qin Feng's Sniper Rifle put on VIP and Arch.
Instead, Wings Up were the ones losing players during defaults.
With their momentum surging, TBD took ten rounds in a row.
12-13.
