Background / History

Before encountering Su Zhe, es3tag prepared with NIP for the CAC tournament and was concerned about facing the dominant Faze lineup in the CS2 era. He kept a tactical notebook and joined ranked matches with k0nfig as a way to clear his head 13.

During a Perfect World ranked match against Su Zhe, es3tag was caught and headshotted while lining up a Desert Eagle shot. He and k0nfig subsequently recognized Su Zhe's unusually fast reactions, prompting k0nfig to review the newcomer’s demo 13 15.

After Su Zhe joined NIP, es3tag served as the team’s IGL. He initially gave the rookie significant freedom as a flex player, later supporting his aggressive “freelance entry fragger” style and officially assigning him to the entry-fragger role 38 45 46 87.
