Mu Haixin's body didn't fall. A hand caught his arm.
"Senior Brother Haixin, thanks for all your hard work!"
Fang Mo steadied Mu Haixin, his face full of concern. A wisp of spiritual energy silently entered Mu Haixin's body to examine his injuries.
Mu Haixin looked at Fang Mo weakly and managed a faint smile. "Sect Leader, I've let you down. I didn't complete the task you entrusted to me properly. We ran into a storm and lost quite a few people. Please punish me!"
Even now, he was thinking about his responsibility. After all, Fang Mo had sent him and his brother to escort the people from the Galactic Alliance, yet they had lost twenty or thirty of them. He felt he had no way to answer to Fang Mo, since those people were Fang Mo's clansmen.
Mu Haichao landed in front of Fang Mo. He bowed respectfully, then quickly spoke up:
"Sect Leader, this was my fault. I failed to protect them. If you're going to punish anyone, punish me. My big brother did everything he could. He was badly injured while searching for help!"
Mu Haixin shot his younger brother a glare. "What are you talking about? If we didn't do the job well, then we didn't do it well!"
"Oh!"
Mu Haichao clearly listened to his big brother and immediately lowered his head.
"Senior Brothers, you did a great job. Who said anything about punishing you?" Fang Mo glanced up at the Galactic Alliance group. Of the nearly hundred people, sixty or seventy remained. Mu Haixin really had done well to keep that many alive.
The two brothers couldn't help but feel relieved. They had always thought Fang Mo was forceful, and so they'd been somewhat worried.
"Senior Brother Haixin, your injuries are serious. Let me
