Rather than a starship, it was more like a mobile Star Fortress. Black armor covered its sinister curves, while rows of fearsome Star Cannons gleamed with cold metallic light in the dark universe, like the eyes of beasts lying in wait.
Inside the fortress's central command room, Sanger, commander of the Mechanical Empire's allied forces, was staring at a holographic Star Map.
Sanger no longer looked like the wretched fugitive who had fled from a Void Insight expert's pursuit. His face was filled with authority, and he had reclaimed the dignity of an alliance commander.
