Silad hurried to the headquarters.
"Damn it!"
He slammed both hands onto the table, fury blazing from his eyes.
"Purple-Wing War Emperor and the others have clearly formed an alliance. This wasn't decided today either. You can tell from their attitudes—it was likely formed after Purple Wing brought those War Emperors into the Mist Sea."
What unsettled him even more was that not only had the War Emperors accompanying Purple Wing formed a united front, but so had a group from Fenyu Continent, along with Jin Hui and the others stationed on the ninth level.
He abruptly turned and looked at Flash Thunder.
"Pass down the order. From now on, the movements of every War Emperor in the base must be monitored in secret. No one can discover it!"
"Alright. I'll have someone handle it secretly at once!"
Flash Thunder nodded. He went to the door and gave instructions to a trusted subordinate, then shut the door again and returned to Silad's side.
"Something is wrong. The Elder Council's secret order just arrived, yet Purple Wing and the others have already made their move. I suspect Purple-Wing War Emperor and the others have colluded in secret!"
"Of course I know!"
Silad rubbed his brow, looking exhausted. "What I'm worried about now is how many War Emperors are involved. Could some of the War Emperors remaining at headquarters be involved too?"
Flash Thunder frowned.
"I'm afraid there are quite a few. Otherwise, Purple Wing and the others wouldn't dare act with such blatant defiance. With just the few of them, would they really dare be so brazen, unafraid of the Empire finding out?"
"Let's go to the communications center. I need to establish contact with the Governor!" Silad finally decided. He turned and hurried toward the communications center, with Flash Thunder
