Zhan Tiancheng lunged toward the array platform, reaching for the Great Array's control token.
At that moment, a Mecha Warrior appeared in the doorway. It raised its arm, and the Particle cannon in its palm lit up, blazing energy surging within.
If Zhan Tiancheng grabbed the token, he would likely be blasted to death. He caught sight of this from the corner of his eye, but he could only risk everything. Gritting his teeth, he forced himself to move faster. As long as he got the token and shut down the Great Array, he would win.
Just then, a figure suddenly darted in through the doorway. It was Ji Changming, who had lured the Mecha Warrior away earlier.

The whole world shook violently. Array Patterns rippled across the ground, then a powerful surge of energy burst forth. With Red Rock City at its center, Array Patterns appeared across the land in every direction, followed by a beam of light shooting straight into the sky.
"No!"
Watching this, the Mecha Warrior let out an enraged roar, fear written all over its face.
"You're all dead!"
The Mecha Warrior turned and threw a punch, sending Ji Changming flying. He crashed hard into the wall, shaking the entire building. Blood spilled from Ji Changming's mouth, and his body crumpled limply to the floor.
"Ji Changming!" Zhan Tiancheng roared when he saw this.
