The tremendous tremors felt like a major earthquake. The entire city shook, and almost no one could keep their footing.
The martial artists on the walls were hurled backward by the shock. Some of the weaker ones coughed up blood. Even with the Great Array protecting them, the tremors were still terrifying.
The ground around the defensive Great Array tore apart, opening fissure after fissure, with magma surging out.
Against the Great Array, the giant sword exploded into flames that filled the sky. Endless fire burst outward like a rain of flames, while cracks appeared across the Great Array like fractures in a frozen lake, accompanied by shrill cracking sounds.
