Vaughn completed his study of dragon magic, claimed the Spell Development Module, and gained enough Magic Power to surpass Michael Graves. Meanwhile, Graves and six other Pure-blood ministers vanished after taking a Portkey, leaving Speaker Josiah Park scrambling to hide their disappearance and contain the crisis.

• Vaughn told Babajide Akinbade that the Muggle politician’s knowledge of the Purifiers pointed to a breakdown in the Pure-bloods’ partnership with the Muggles, and he refused to recall Kingsley, Lupin, and Tonks.
