Chapter 1050: There Is an Expert
"Alright." Dao Lord Taichu nodded in agreement and followed behind Bai Feng as they walked forward.
The two continued onward. After traveling some distance, a violent tremor suddenly came from the distant forest, followed by the collapse of a towering ancient tree.
"Rumble!"
Dust billowed into the air, and the entire ground shook violently.
The two stopped and looked toward the distant disturbance.
"Who is fighting?" Dao Lord Taichu frowned. He had never sensed danger this intense before.
Bai Feng shook his head. "I don't know. It should be two experts battling fiercely. Let's not go over there yet, lest we get caught in the crossfire."
"Alright."
Dao Lord Taichu nodded. Though the two were enemies, this was not the time to turn against each other.
The two continued forward.
"Ah!"
A scream suddenly rang out.
Dao Lord Taichu and Bai Feng were both stunned.
"This is..." Dao Lord Taichu's brows knit slightly. Up ahead, he saw a man in white robes covered in wounds, being pursued by a short man.
"Who are you? What are you doing?" Bai Feng shouted.
The short man slapped the white-robed man to death, then stopped and turned to look at Bai Feng and Dao Lord Taichu.
Bai Feng carefully examined the short man. He looked no different from an ordinary human, even somewhat wretched, yet he possessed a head of silver-white hair that made him seem exceptionally strange.
This fellow is probably no ordinary person, Bai Feng thought.
The short man looked at Bai Feng. "Who are you, daring to interfere in our grudge?"
"I am Bai Feng. Who are you? Why did you attack him?"
Bai Feng pondered for a moment before slowly speaking as he watched the short man.
Bai Feng was his real name.
