"Young Master, eat slowly. I'll fetch a basin of water for you to wash your face."
Seeing this, the woman hurriedly spoke.
"Go on."
Dao Lord Taichu waved his hand.
The woman hurried out and went to a room next door.
Before long, she entered the private room carrying a basin of water, set it on the tea table, and then withdrew.
As soon as she left, the door to the private room closed. Dao Lord Taichu set down his bowl and chopsticks, picked up the teapot, poured himself a cup, and drained it in one gulp.
"Fine tea!"
Dao Lord Taichu praised it.
Though the tea leaves were ordinary, they were exceptionally fragrant and mellow. He had never tasted such tea before; the flavor was simply exquisite.
"Over the years, I've traveled across the lands and seen much of the world, yet I've never tasted tea this delicious. At last, I've found it."
Dao Lord Taichu said with feeling.
At that moment, the private room door was pushed open and a man entered. He wore a black robe and had an ugly face. After entering, he swept his gaze around the room before finally looking at the tea table. Seeing the pile of bowls and chopsticks on it, his eyes lit up slightly. He walked over, cleared away the tableware, and left the private room.
Dao Lord Taichu frowned in puzzlement. He could tell that this man was no ordinary person.
But since the other party was a waiter at the restaurant, he could not be bothered to pay him any attention.
After eating, he went out onto the street and strolled along. Yet wherever he passed, many Cultivators stepped aside and cleared a path for him.
Their gazes were all fixed on Dao Lord Taichu, filled with reverence.
