As he spoke, Dao Lord Taichu continued deeper inside.
Before long, the two arrived at the summit of Heavenly Demon Mountain. At this mountaintop stood a colossal stone stele, a thousand zhang tall, radiating terrifying majesty.
Dao Lord Taichu walked to the side of the stele.
A line of text was carved upon it: "Land of the God Burial. Those who enter shall surely die!"
"Oh, it seems this place is far more dangerous than I imagined!"
Dao Lord Taichu murmured.
His gaze flashed, and he threw a punch at the stone stele.
The void trembled as terrifying ripples swept in every direction.
Crack!
A crisp sound rang out.
A fissure actually appeared on the stele.
"What a sturdy stele. Even I cannot break it!" Dao Lord Taichu narrowed his eyes.
"If I use that move, I should be able to destroy this stele!" Dao Lord Taichu muttered, then slashed with a finger.
With a soft tearing sound, a long, narrow wound appeared on his fingertip.
Then, streams of blood flowed from the wound and gathered together, forming an ancient symbol that slowly imprinted itself upon the stone stele.
With a muffled boom, the entire stele shattered, turning into dust that filled the sky.
"So this is the Restriction of the Land of the God Burial? It seems I must investigate carefully!"
Dao Lord Taichu said calmly.
His figure flashed as he sped toward the bottom of the valley.
The closer he drew to the valley floor, the colder it became. By the time he reached the bottom, the chill pierced to the bone, as though he had entered an ice cavern that had existed for ten thousand years!
Yet Dao Lord Taichu paid it no mind. He continued onward, directly collecting everything he encountered along the way.
