"Dao Lord Taichu, do you think you can escape?" The Purple Lightning Sword Emperor's voice thundered across the heavens as he roared and chased after Dao Lord Taichu.
Dao Lord Taichu did not answer and merely continued accelerating through the air.
He knew that the Purple Lightning Sword Emperor was an exceptionally dangerous opponent. He had to give everything he had to shake off his pursuit.
Suddenly, the Purple Lightning Sword Emperor swung the Purple Long Sword in his hand. A massive lightning storm instantly formed and swept toward Dao Lord Taichu.
Unable to evade in time, Dao Lord Taichu was struck by the lightning. His body instantly turned into a streak of golden light and vanished amid the electric radiance.
"Hahaha! I finally caught you, Dao Lord Taichu!" The Purple Lightning Sword Emperor laughed smugly, but he did not stop his pursuit. He knew Dao Lord Taichu's strength was no trifling matter and had to make certain he was utterly defeated.
Yet just as the Purple Lightning Sword Emperor believed victory was in his grasp, a streak of golden light suddenly surged from the lightning. Dao Lord Taichu reappeared in midair.
Intense golden radiance shone from his body. He was completely unharmed.
"You are still not strong enough, Purple Lightning Sword Emperor!" Dao Lord Taichu's voice was filled with coldness and mockery. He swung his golden staff, releasing a dazzling flash that instantly dispersed the Purple Lightning Sword Emperor's lightning storm.
The Purple Lightning Sword Emperor roared and swung his sword again, unleashing an even more powerful lightning attack.
This time, Dao Lord Taichu did not yield either. He transformed into a golden whirlwind, swept the lightning into it, and then charged swiftly toward the Purple Lightning Sword Emperor.
