A masked man appeared near the cave, a longbow strapped to his back and a curved saber hanging at his waist. He stared coldly at Lin Taichu and asked, "Who are you?"
Lin Taichu sheathed his Profound Iron sword and smiled faintly. "I'm a cultivator merely passing through."
"Hmph, who are you trying to fool? You dare steal the Dragon Blood Grass? You must be tired of living! Die today!" As he spoke, the man drew the curved saber at his waist and lunged at Lin Taichu.
Lin Taichu shook his head and sighed. "Sigh, I hadn't wanted to fight. Since you insist on forcing me, I suppose I'll reluctantly deal with this nuisance."
As he spoke, Lin Taichu took a step forward and instantly vanished from where he stood.
Boom! Just as the man lunged forward, Lin Taichu kicked him flying, sending him crashing into the distance.
Pfft! He violently spat out a mouthful of blood.
Lin Taichu was far too fast, even faster than experts in the Nascent Soul realm. The man had no time to react before being sent flying by a kick!
Bang! The man slammed into the rock wall, blood gushing wildly from his mouth.
Lin Taichu slowly walked toward the man. His expression was calm, yet it carried a trace of ruthless cruelty.
The man knew Lin Taichu was formidable. Lying in a hollow in the rock wall, he struggled to rise, but he knew he was no match for Lin Taichu.
"Beg for mercy. If you kneel and kowtow, I might consider sparing you," Lin Taichu said blandly.
"In your dreams." The man gritted his teeth, his eyes filled with hatred.
"Hehe, I like people with your kind of temperament best! You'd rather die than submit, which is why I enjoy torturing you!"
