The Old Man took a jade bottle and a Jade Slip from his robes and handed them to Lin Taichu.
Lin Taichu accepted the jade bottle and Jade Slip, then asked, "What are these?"
The Old Man said, "The jade bottle contains Healing Pills. If you are injured in the ruins, you can take them to heal yourself. The Jade Slip records some information about the ruins. You can read it first to get an understanding of the place."
Lin Taichu nodded. "Thank you, Senior." With that, he put away the jade bottle and Jade Slip, then headed toward the mountain range once more.
After several days of travel, Lin Taichu finally reached the depths of the mountain range. Following the records in the Jade Slip, he found the entrance to the mysterious ruins.
At the entrance stood a massive Stone Gate, its surface covered in strange Runes.
Lin Taichu stepped forward and carefully examined the Runes on the Stone Gate.
He discovered that these Runes seemed to form a Formation. Only by breaking it could he open the Stone Gate.
