Immediately after, the sandstorm suddenly spun faster and moved toward Lin Taichu.
The sandstorm, which had originally been more than a dozen yards away, closed the distance in an instant. The sand swirled more fiercely, like countless tiny blades flying toward him.

The iron hook caught the edge of the boulder perfectly. He gripped the iron chain with all his strength, trying to steady himself.
But the sandstorm's power was too great. The iron chain creaked under the strain, his arms ached from being pulled, and yet his body still inched closer to the storm's center.
White Bear stood in the center of the sandstorm, watching Lin Taichu struggle against the iron chain. A trace of disdain flashed through his red eyes. He let out another roar, and the sandstorm grew even stronger.
With a sharp crack, the iron chain suddenly snapped. Lin Taichu lost his support and was instantly swept into the sandstorm.
Everything inside the sandstorm was pitch-black. Sand lashed against his body, hurting so badly that he felt as though he were being torn apart.
He felt himself spinning without end, unable to tell which way was up. He could only wrap his arms around his head and protect his vital areas as best he could.
