"Don't go." Lin Taichu stopped him. "We have no evidence right now, and Ollie definitely won't admit it. Besides, if he finds out Gabriel told us this, he might immediately go after Gabriel's family. That would make things even more troublesome."
Aron calmed down and felt Lin Taichu was right. He could only suppress his anger. "Then what do we do? We can't just watch Ollie do whatever he wants, can we?"
"We'll talk during tomorrow's match. I have an idea," Lin Taichu said. "You'll see then."
Though Aron was curious, he did not ask any more questions. He only reminded Lin Taichu to be careful.
The next day arrived quickly. The beast arena was packed with spectators, all eagerly anticipating the match—Lin Taichu had just defeated the Sea-Splitting Beast, while Gabriel was the fifth-ranked expert. This clash was bound to be spectacular.
Ollie sat in the VIP section, his face dark as he watched the arena below. He had already warned Gabriel yesterday that if he dared lose, he would go after his family. He did not believe Gabriel would dare disobey him.
As long as Gabriel defeated Lin Taichu, Lin Taichu's reputation would suffer. Then, once he found another opportunity, he would surely be able to drive Lin Taichu out of Atlantis for good.
Lin Taichu and Gabriel entered the center of the beast arena one after the other. The host raised a loudspeaker and shouted, "Ladies and gentlemen! Today's match is a showdown between two powerful fighters!"
"On one side, we have the human warrior Lin Taichu, who defeated the Sea-Splitting Beast. On the other is Gabriel, ranked fifth and a master archer! The match is about to begin, so let us wait and see!"
The crowd immediately erupted in cheers, and applause rolled through the arena.
