Lin Taichu gripped the Deep Sea Crystal in his hand, then touched the trident on his back. Following Aron and the remaining thirty guards, he slowly entered the cave.
The cave was very dark. Only the fluorescent algae that occasionally flickered on the walls gave off a faint glow, barely illuminating the path ahead.
After walking several dozen meters, they suddenly heard voices ahead, along with the sound of metal clashing. Lin Taichu and Aron exchanged a glance, slowed their pace, and carefully approached.
After turning a corner, the view suddenly opened up—this was a massive underground space. Several enormous iron cages stood in the middle, each holding a ferocious beast.
On the other side of the space stood more than a dozen Black-clothed Men. One of them was the red-robed man they had seen at the black market before. Four men in black armor stood beside him, each holding a long blade. They were likely the Guards Lina had mentioned.
There were also several unfamiliar faces, dressed differently from the people of Atlantis. They were speaking with the red-robed man while holding a black case, seemingly in the middle of a transaction.
"Looks like we came to the right place. The transaction is underway," Aron said in a low voice. He gestured to the guards behind him, and they immediately spread out, slowly encircling the Black-clothed Men.
The red-robed man seemed to sense something. He abruptly stopped speaking and looked toward Lin Taichu's group. "Who's there?"
Lin Taichu no longer hid. He stepped out from behind the corner, the Deep Sea Crystal in his hand giving off a faint glow. "It's me. Your transaction ends here today."
The red-robed man's expression changed when he saw Lin Taichu. "You! You actually dared to come back!"
