Lin Taichu thought for a moment.
"One month is fine, but I need to look at your goods first."
Mr. Ma turned his head and glanced at Wang Tieshan. Wang Tieshan nodded, turned, and left. A little while later, he returned carrying a wooden tray, on which lay two sabers and two swords.
Mr. Ma picked up the sabers and swords one by one and set them on the table.
"These are the best goods our Forging Workshop produces. Take a look."
Lin Taichu picked up a saber. The blade was black and not very heavy. He flicked it with a bent finger, and the blade gave a dull sound, nothing like the clear ring of the Dharma Artifacts Feng Tie forged.
He looked at the edge again. It had been sharpened well enough, but the grain of the blade was uneven, dense in some places and sparse in others, which showed the heat had not been properly controlled during forging.
Mr. Ma watched Lin Taichu's expression.
"How is it?"
"Not bad. Usable."
Mr. Ma gave a slight smile.
"You sound far too reluctant saying that. I know our goods can't compare to Feng Tie's, but ours are cheap and we have them in volume. If you're buying them to arm a force, they're good enough. It's not as if you're taking them to cross blows with a Half-Saint Ninth Layer expert."
"That's true."
Lin Taichu set the sword down.
"One month, one thousand sets, two hundred and fifty Spirit Stones per set. Two hundred and fifty thousand Spirit Stones. Deal."
Mr. Ma nodded.
"Wang Tieshan, draw up an agreement."
