"Reincarnated Demon?"
Miss Hu Jiu smiled brightly. "What a shame. I'm not in the mood to explain it to you right now."
Though she hadn't said so outright, she truly didn't think much of the Deathmatch Arena fighters.
To a wicked spirit of her caliber, humans were no stronger than ants. A Deathmatch fighter with a Silver Ability was just a slightly stronger ant.
Lu Bai could more or less understand her way of thinking, so he decided to correct her perception first, then question her properly.
He said no more and slowly raised his right hand. A hazy white glow gradually appeared along his entire right arm.
"A Reincarnated Demon who's become an Incense Officer? I've never seen one before."
Miss Hu Jiu tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. She recognized at a glance that the mana belonged to Lord Bai the Fourteenth.
She relaxed even further. "But even my Fourteenth Brother isn't a match for me. Why would you go looking for humiliation, young man?"
Lu Bai didn't argue. He merely shot Lord Bai the Fourteenth a sidelong glance.
Curled up in a ball, Lord Bai the Fourteenth caught a hint of disdain in Lu Bai's eyes and squirmed a little awkwardly.
Whoosh~
A white spike formed in an instant and shot toward Miss Hu Jiu under Lu Bai's control.
But the sudden attack failed. A slender, jade-white finger stopped it halfway, keeping it from advancing another inch.
"Honestly, I've never been fond of fighting."
Miss Hu Jiu casually crushed the spike, which had been formed from mana. "But after such an affront, I should at least give you some sort of response."
As she spoke, she lightly tapped the ground with her toe.
From where she stood, a pink glow spread across a hundred-meter radius.
