Above the heavens, wind and clouds rolled backward. Auspicious clouds rose thirty thousand feet into the sky, golden flowers fell from heaven, and golden lotuses burst from the earth. From beneath the land, vast purple qi stretched endlessly toward the east, blanketing the nine heavens. The firmament shook, the sun, moon, and stars swayed, and countless living beings trembled in inexplicable terror as they bowed toward the east.
The world gave rise to countless Great Daos. For a time, innumerable beings across the land of Hong Huang—plants, ordinary beasts, rare treasures, and more—had their spiritual intelligence awakened. Some even took human form and became Transcendent Mortals because of it.
"Hiss! Such a phenomenon—purple qi coming from the east for thirty thousand miles, auspicious clouds soaring thirty thousand feet, propitious qi filling the skies, golden lotuses springing from the earth. What exactly happened?!"
At that moment, apart from Yuanshi, every supreme Da Luo Golden Immortal cultivator—Laozi, Tongtian, Nuwa, Zhen Yuanzi, and the rest—gasped, their eyelids twitching wildly.
Just then, countless cultivators saw a massive radiance of the Saint Dao shoot into the heavens from an immortal mountain dojo in eastern Hong Huang. The light was majestic, shaking the firmament as rolling pressure spread in every direction. Then, within that holy radiance, an ancient-looking old man clad in a dark Daoist robe appeared.
He stepped into the air and headed beyond the Thirty-Three Heavens. At the same time, a vast song of the Great Dao descended from above the nine heavens:
"High above the ninth layer of clouds I recline, Upon a rush mat, I attain the true Dao.
Beyond Heaven and Earth, Dark and Yellow, I shall be the honored master of the teachings.
