This was especially true of magical treasures—the lowest grade among them was that of a top-grade connate spirit treasure.
Just as everyone was preparing to turn back, they noticed activity in the distance. The currents of Chaos had erupted into an unprecedented frenzy.
After exchanging glances, they continued onward. Before long, the sight before them left them stunned. It was an enormous curtain of light. Though it appeared far less vast and boundless than Hong Huang, it was still incomparably immense.
"Is this a great world within Chaos?"
Zhunti muttered to himself, then continued, "There must be plenty of magical treasures within this world.
"If one possessed such a great world and spread one's own lineage there, why would one still need to fight over Hong Huang?"
The others shared the same thought, but unlike Zhunti, they did not voice it.
Tongtian said, "I wonder whether we can enter it."
The group arrived before the curtain of light and discovered that while it was powerful, it was far inferior to Hong Huang's barrier. It could not stop them, and they were immediately delighted as they prepared to enter.
Suddenly, they saw the light curtain churn. A man in black appeared within it, his cold face fixed upon them.
"Everyone, this world does not welcome you."
Zhunti said, "Fellow Daoist, we have come with goodwill, specifically
