As the battle escalated, three powerful beings arrived from downstream in the River of Time and declared that they had come to kill Huang and Xuan.

  • After three hundred thousand years of cultivation, Butcher, Chicken Farmer, Burial Master, and Fake Medicine Seller became Emperor Light Immortal Kings, while twelve others reached supreme Immortal King overlord level.
  • Willow Deity awakened and advanced to the middle stage of the Quasi-Immortal Emperor realm after merging with Dark Willow Deity.

The corpse reclaimed the remnant and unleashed the Da Luo Sword Embryo on Shi Hao, leaving him badly wounded as the sword repeatedly struck him despite his attempts to escape.

  • Shi Hao and his companions found a remnant soul in the ancient temple and a dark, mutilated corpse that claimed the authority of an emperor.
  • The corpse attacked them with Dark Matter, and the remnant soul warned that the creature might not be fully dead.

Shi Hao recovered from Corpse Immortal Emperor’s attack, defeated and refined him, then sealed the breach leading to Above the Heavens. The darkness was eradicated, but over the following ages Shi Hao and other powerful figures departed for Above the Heavens, where a greater danger awaited.

  • Corpse Immortal Emperor split Shi Hao apart with the Da Luo Sword Embryo, but Shi Hao reassembled and regained his peak strength.
  • Shi Hao overwhelmed Corpse Immortal Emperor, suppressed him, and refined him over ten thousand years.

After destroying the Immortal Emperor imprints that guarded the River of Time, Xuantian traveled into the past, discovered the Soul River, and returned after learning its nature.

  • Xuantian and the others removed the Heaven-Burying Ancient Coffin and passed through the sealed opening to Above the Heavens, where they found a vast sea of blood and countless grave-like mounds.

Xuantian and his allies attacked the Soul River but were overwhelmed by a Sacrificial Dao expert, and Shi Hao rescued the badly wounded Xuantian. After learning the Eerie Clan’s strength, they established the Heaven Alliance and began preparing for the war ahead.

  • Xuantian opened a passage to the Soul River, and he and the others advanced into it, destroying its eerie waters and creatures.

  • Xuantian destroyed the White Progenitor and shattered the Plateau’s power, while Chang Feng, Shi Hao, and others also sent two Eerie Progenitors into Eternal Silence.
