Seeing Jin Lingfeng Again

One day later.

Ye Kang went to the Martial Academy and Array Institute for classes again. As expected, everyone who had come out of the Wu She Secret Realm had gained something.

Gao Fan, Yin Xingtang, and Wen Yuanqing had all successfully broken through to the Star Luo Realm, while Wang Chi and Zhao Yuer had both reached Six Palace Peak.

The sight left the other New Students green with envy.

During class at the Martial Academy, Yin Xingtang demanded that Ye Kang fight him. Ye Kang repeatedly refused, but then he came up with a new idea.

A fight wasn't out of the question, but first, Yin Xingtang had to do him a favor.

And so, seven days later, the academy had another break.

Ye Kang and Yin Xingtang walked out of the academy together.

Yin Xingtang's expression was stern. "I hope you won't go back on your word. I'll come with you, but you have to fight me again."

Ye Kang smiled. "Of course, of course. Do you take me for someone who doesn't keep his word? I don't have much choice. I don't know my way around here, and without a Local Tyrant to guide me, some unscrupulous merchant could easily cheat me."

"I don't go to County City often, either. The Barracks, though, are my stomping grounds."

"That suits me perfectly. Besides, even if you don't come to County City often, you're still the Daughter of General Zhan. With your status, any merchant who wants to cheat you would have to think twice about how many heads General Zhan would take."

Ye Kang grinned, then changed direction.

Yin Xingtang paused. "This isn't the way to County City."

"I know. Did I say we were going straight there? We'll stop by the Spirit Spring Army's barracks first.
