Ye Kang could only smile. "Senior has a keen eye. This junior didn't know what they were. I just thought they seemed mysterious, so I picked up a few."
"You certainly picked them up, all right. Those were chess pieces Old Ghost Ouyang had spent his whole life refining. He treasured them like jewels, along with his chessboard. But under our Thunder Demon Sect's relentless bombardment, some were shattered and the rest were lost."
"May I ask who Senior Ouyang was?"
"A retainer of the Old Wu Family, nothing but a lackey. He brought shame to those of us in the Dao Integration Realm. Still, he was quite good at chess, and the material those pieces were made of was intriguing. If you could gather them all, they'd make an excellent spirit treasure."

"Since you want them so badly, why not make another deal with me?"

Ye Kang furrowed his brow slightly. Truthfully, he didn't want to spend any more time with this fellow.
