"Why don't you all stop arguing for now? Can this time count as my responsibility? This wasn't much of a problem to begin with, but after all this fuss from you, are we even going to keep exterminating demons?"
After gaining an advantage earlier, the Demon Race people began provoking trouble at every turn.
They even started spouting all sorts of nonsense without giving it any thought.
"Could it be that this was wrong from the very beginning, and that other problems have emerged? Since they already know perfectly well."
Then they should not still be wasting words at a time like this. Clearly, they were giving others face and an opportunity.
"All right, then we really are the same in this regard. We're just more worried, that's all. If something really is wrong, then doing this now will definitely be more effective."
After he finished explaining that final point, the Demon Venerable was finally somewhat moved. He knew this situation was complicated, and there was no way to keep dwelling on it.
But he could not really understand the problems and connections that came afterward.
"Then think it over first. In any case, this still has some use. If that part just now had been explained clearly, there would basically be no difference afterward."
"You can't keep using that rule all the time, either."
When the man behind them finished those last words, the people who had originally relaxed became incomparably tense.
"How much have we of the Demon Race done? Do we need to prove it to anyone? Aren't all those matters outside caused by us? This Demon Lord may seem formidable, but in reality, he only lacks an advance force."
Because he had not taken this seriously enough, he had previously missed many ways to improve himself.
