Took a Shortcut, Caused a Mix-Up, Here's an Explanation

Some of the character introductions just now came from the outline written when I first started the book. The plot has long since been revised.

For example, Lord Xiaoshan was originally supposed to fail outright, but in the current plot, he retained part of his consciousness.

For another example, Lord Rongyang being a transmigrator predecessor was a setting borrowed from another book I had conceived. That book was set against an Eastern fantasy backdrop and told the story of a protagonist quietly leveling up, allocating points, and solving cases in a police station during the era when firearms were first emerging. Unfortunately, it failed to get an internal contract.

One last thing: True Monarch Qianmu, marked in the character chapter just now, was also from the old outline and has now been removed. He was originally meant to have his own schemes alongside True Monarch Huishan, but the Big Shots all said there were too many characters, so I streamlined a great many of them and simplified the plot somewhat. True Monarch Qianmu was therefore removed as well.

The extra character descriptions have been deleted. The revised version is now the correct one!
