Background

Xiao Yan spent his early years in Wutan City as the son of Xiao Zhan. After his cultivation talent disappeared, he fell from a promising youth to a target of ridicule. The cause was the ring inherited from his mother, which contained Medicine Elder and drained his Dou Qi. Chen Yang identified the ring’s connection to the problem, allowing Xiao Yan to regain hope and begin rebuilding his strength 10 11.

When Nalan Yanran moved to dissolve their engagement, Xiao Yan turned the humiliation into a negotiation.
