Another major volume has come to an end. Thank you all for your company and support!

Truthfully, I still have some regrets about this volume.

First, there was the change to the major setup. At the beginning, Natie wanted to pull the entire Ten Thousand Viper Sea market into You Su Fen, where the cultivators stationed there from the Nine Great Sects and the rogue cultivators would die one by one in all kinds of gruesome ways.

The number of deaths and the ways those cultivators died would gradually push the story toward its climax.

By the end, only the protagonist's group would be left.

Writing it that way would have been a lot of fun, and it would have shown just how terrifying You Su Fen was.

But...

Before Volume Four began, in the scene where the Sang Village Chief invited Shi Wanli and the other four to a wedding feast in Chapter 333 of Volume Two, every single gory passage had to be cut or revised.

Descriptions of that level were already considered very serious and needed extensive revisions. So if Natie really pulled the entire Ten Thousand Viper Sea market in, I'd probably end up revising myself numb.

This volume was written with great restraint and caution.

You Su Fen is a horror dungeon, but horror can't be written, so I could only focus on the plot.

I'm not saying this to complain about anything. I just want to tell all you Immortal Friends that Natie really put a lot of care into writing this volume!

From the beginning of this volume up to the events before the First Gate, I used a "from the point to the whole" approach, gradually bringing out You Su Fen's distinctive features before revealing the fortune left behind by Zhou.
