As they spoke, a lofty, boundless aura, as if it came from the highest and farthest reaches, suddenly descended. In the distant void, a figure in white robes and golden rings appeared out of nowhere.
He was an old man with white hair and a youthful face. His white robes were as pure as snow, radiating a grand, luminous air, while his golden rings glittered with several iridescent gems set into them, shining in concert. He looked as though an immortal had descended, yet an indescribable aura of evil coiled around him.
The instant he appeared, the old man from Jiuyi Mountain, the sword cultivator from Cold Abyss Sword Sect, Empress Liulan, and Wenren Lingshe all turned to look at him.
The Natal Flying Sword rang out in a clear note. The Zhu Yi Sword Cultivator said coldly, "That is Ren Jiao, the demonic fiend of Innate Religion."
The old man Ren Jiao of Innate Religion smiled faintly. "All things under heaven are born, but humans are the most precious. You false Daoists have betrayed Heaven's blessing of being born human. You willingly debase yourselves, placing yourselves on equal footing with beasts covered in fur and bearing horns, and with creatures born in water or hatched from eggs. It is nothing less than turning right and wrong upside down and defying Heaven!"
"Now Heaven's favor rests upon my Sacred Dao, and so the Sacred Sect's Holy Son was born into the world to slaughter you all in answer to Heaven's will!"
"If you don't want your bodies destroyed and your souls scattered, hand over your Prodigies to join my Sacred Sect as furnace cauldrons, and surrender the many foreign races as provisions for my Sacred Dao's cultivation. Then you may yet keep your corpses intact!"
