First, a quick note: The climactic chapters of this volume over the past few days have drawn a lot of chapter comments and reviews. Natie spent half an hour going through them in the author dashboard and still hadn't finished. Now, a few words about this volume's plot. The main storyline can be summed up in one sentence: Pei Ling challenged the Sect Masters of the Nine Great Sects, won, and broke through to the Tribulation Transcendence Stage.
But the simpler a plot like this seems, the harder it is to write.
This was Natie's first time writing this kind of story. Just coming up with the Nine Great Sects and Nine Great Paths took a great deal of work, and the form of each battle kept changing, too.
After all, they were already at the Dao Integration Stage. If their battles were still just you throwing a punch and me kicking you, it wouldn't do them justice.
Besides the fourth battle, when Pei Ling faced the Sword God of the Cold Abyss Sword Sect, none of the fights were fair.
It wasn't until the Demon Sect that Natie could finally relax, because the Demon Sect didn't have to play fair.
