Panyai Realm.

Night fell low, and the moon shone bright as white silk.

Frost-colored moonlight spread across the earth, shimmering softly.

Eternal Night Desert.

In the darkness, as tangible as solid matter, rustling sounds stretched on without end.

Through the gloom, nine enormous white pillars rose skyward. Heavenly Tribulation chains of varying thicknesses writhed around them like the rampant vines of a forest in the Primordial Wilderness, winding and twisting together as they surged down the pillars, wrapping around a blood-red coffin.

Layer upon layer of densely packed seals covered the coffin, as if they meant to suppress the being within it for all eternity.

Yet, on closer inspection, the lid was slightly askew, revealing a narrow crack.

Gurgling darkness flowed out through the gap like a rising tide.

Suddenly, thunder boomed in the heavens. Purple and cyan lightning crisscrossed the sky, briefly and swiftly illuminating the entire world.

Rumble...

Thunderclaps shook the sand and gravel, making them patter down as if they had awakened the being within the coffin.

A series of creaking sounds rang out. The blood-red coffin, which had been floating motionless in midair, began to shake violently. Every chain was immediately pulled taut and thrashed wildly, scraping against one another like surging floodwaters.

Lightning serpents and electric pythons appeared out of thin air, roaring as they darted about and split the space apart.

An icy, chaotic aura surged. An arm, white as jade and clad in a sleeve of crimson, reached through the gap in the coffin lid and seized its edge!

In an instant, the thunder ceased, and all sound fell silent.

The world became utterly still.

The next moment, all the thunderbolts, along with the densely packed chains, flowed into the coffin of their own accord, like a hundred rivers returning to the sea.
