As he spoke, Miao Chengan's energy blade flew again, and the two Wraiths lunged forward, passing through Pei Ling's body.

The Wraiths were formless and incredibly fast. Pei Ling couldn't defend against them at all, only feeling the intensifying chill with each pass.
