Gu Long secured the Ancient Clan’s recognition, became its Saint Son, and thwarted the Soul Clan’s attempt to open the Burial Soul Abyss. After breaking through to Dou Saint in the Ancient Battlefield Space, he and Xun Er set out for the Burial God Mountain Range, unaware that Gu Yang had betrayed their destination.

• Gu Long restored Yao Chen’s body, accepted him as the Dragon Domain’s Medicine Hall Elder, and began preparing for the Wind Thunder Pavilion’s challenge.
• Gu Long defeated the Wind Thunder Pavilion at Soul Severing Valley, then traveled to Gu Sheng City and publicly forced Ling Quan to honor their wager.
• Gu Long won the Ancient Clan tournament, exposed Yang Hao’s collusion with Soul Hall, and received the Ancient Emperor Core Inheritance and the Saint Son title.
• Gu Yuan announced Gu Long and Xun Er’s betrothal, and Gu Long returned to the Northwest Continent to investigate the Soul Clan’s black mist and Soul Devouring Array.
• Gu Long and Gu Lie stopped the Soul Clan from opening the Burial Soul Abyss, with Gu Long sacrificing Ancient Emperor Origin to reinforce its seal.
• Gu Long overcame the Ancient Battlefield Space’s projections and his Inner Demon, broke through to Dou Saint, and formed the World of Order.
• Gu Long and Xun Er departed for the Burial God Mountain Range, killed four Soul Clan Dou Saints who ambushed them, and continued their journey while Gu Yang secretly reported their destination to the Soul Clan.
