Ch. 202Silver

After Gold Crystal Fortress’s victory, Parr appointed Randy as its commander and learned the Silver-level Qi Condensation Method. Parr advanced to Peak Silver Knight, manifested his Magic Beast Phantom as a black horse, and learned that it might be connected to the Youyan Family.

  • Parr named Randy commander of Gold Crystal Fortress, and Randy defeated Old Tom’s adjutant in a spar to prove his strength.
  • Parr collected copies of Skills from the merit exchange hall and learned the Wind Wolf Basic Qi Condensation Method from the adjutant.
  • Parr upgraded his Qi Condensation Method and advanced to Silver-level, where his Battle Qi formed a blurry black horse phantom.
  • Parr spent more Life Energy Points to reach Peak Silver Knight and summoned the phantom as a black horse with a horn and black flames.
  • Randy told Parr that the Youyan Family was said to possess a black-furred unicorn horse bloodline.

Ch. 203Mary

Parr investigated a mysterious summons and discovered that Mary Azure Stone was plotting to keep Gold Crystal Fortress out of the war on behalf of Lady Heidi. Mary tried to enslave him, but Parr revealed his true strength and seized her, while her memories began flooding into his mind.

  • Parr rejected the idea of seeking out the Youyan Family and followed a hypnotized messenger to a residence in Gold Crystal Fortress.
  • Parr recognized Mary Azure Stone, who offered the Golden Dragonfly Family land and Fluorescent City in exchange for keeping Gold Crystal Fortress out of the fight against the orcs.
  • Parr suspected Blazing Rat or Dawn was behind Mary, and Mary revealed that her backer was Lady Heidi, the mother of the Blazing Rat Marquis.
  • Mary trapped Parr with a drowsiness-inducing Magic Array and attempted to use Soul Enslavement Magic on him.
  • Parr broke free, revealed that he was a Four-Star Magician, and grabbed Mary by the throat as her memories began entering his mind.

Ch. 204Enslavement

Parr enslaved Mary and learned that Heidi of the Blazing Rat Family had secretly become a Seven-Star Magician and was plotting against the Youyan Family. After turning a Youyan Shadow Guard into a messenger, Parr’s warning reached the Youyan Grand Duke just as a major orc attack gave him an unexpected opportunity.

  • Parr survived the backlash from Mary’s memories and used Soul Enslavement Magic to control her, then learned about Heidi’s strength and plans to undermine the Youyan Family.
  • Parr decided to work with the Youyan Family and planned to use Mary’s connection to Gold Crystal Fortress to help them secretly.
  • A masked attacker tried to kill Mary, but Parr defeated him and learned he was a Youyan Family Shadow Guard.
  • Parr ordered the Shadow Guard to inform the Youyan Grand Duke about Heidi and promised to secretly send Gold Crystal Fortress troops to reinforce other fortresses.
  • The Youyan Grand Duke received Parr’s intelligence, debated whether to trust Martin Golden Dragonfly, and then learned the Charging Bull Tribe was advancing on Youyan Fortress.

Ch. 205Magic

Parr arranged Martin Golden Dragonfly’s wedding to Mary, learned her six spells, and strengthened his control over her before preparing to join the approaching decisive battle outside Youyan Fortress. As his Half-Orc cavalry rode out, You Shi You Er Wu stopped them with a secret letter from the Youyan Grand Duke.

  • The orcs retreated toward Youyan Fortress while human forces pursued, and the armies moved toward a decisive battle expected within days.
  • Parr arranged Martin Golden Dragonfly’s wedding to Mary, and the deputy commander delivered a Holy Sword Fragment as a gift from Old Tom.
  • On the wedding night, Parr learned and maximized Mary’s six spells, then strengthened her and had her swear an oath against betraying him.
  • After hearing that a decisive battle was approaching, Parr gathered his Half-Orc soldiers and rode toward Youyan Fortress.
  • You Shi You Er Wu blocked Parr’s group and presented him with a secret letter from the Youyan Grand Duke.

Ch. 206Decisive Battle

Parr learned that the Youyan Grand Duke planned to abandon Youyan Fortress and trap the Charging Bull Tribe’s Orc army, while Parr’s force waited with other troops along the Orcs’ likely escape route. After the Orcs captured the fortress and pursued the retreating humans, the Grand Duke blew it up and led a counterattack with Ivan Youyan and the Youyan Family’s hidden cavalry, leaving the battle’s outcome uncertain.

  • Parr joined You Er Wu’s force and traveled for days to an ambush site beyond Youyan Fortress, where You Er Wu revealed the Grand Duke’s plan to lure the Orcs deep into human territory.
  • The Charging Bull Tribe’s army, swelling to hundreds of thousands, attacked Youyan Fortress as the Youyan Grand Duke fought the Charging Bull Chieftain in the air.
  • After a prolonged battle, the Orcs captured the largely evacuated fortress, and the Grand Duke covered his soldiers’ retreat while the Orcs pursued them east.
  • The Youyan Grand Duke detonated Youyan Fortress, cutting off the Orcs’ route back, then turned to charge them with human soldiers, adventurers, and thousands of hidden cavalry.
  • Ivan Youyan appeared as the Grand Duke’s trump card, but the human forces still faced the Orcs at a numerical disadvantage.

Ch. 207Ambush

The Youyan Grand Duke routed the orcs and pursued the Charging Bull Tribe south, while Parr’s ambush cut off and devastated its rear guard. After the battle, Parr froze You Er Wu and fled with his Half-Orc soldiers into the Western Mountain Range.

  • The Youyan Grand Duke broke through to Peak Gold-level, defeated the Charging Bull Chieftain, and drove the orcs south, where the Charging Bull Shaman sacrificed other tribes to cover the Charging Bull Tribe’s retreat.
  • Parr learned the Charging Bull Tribe was approaching his crossroads ambush and led more than three hundred Bronze-level Half-Orcs in a wind-enhanced charge that split the Minotaur force.
  • The Charging Bull Shaman ordered the main force to keep moving despite the rear ambush and revealed a plan to join the Cattail Bear Tribe in an attack on Blazing Rat Fortress.
  • Parr and the human ambushers overwhelmed the abandoned Minotaurs before the Youyan Grand Duke arrived and asked to meet Martin Golden Dragonfly.
  • After the battle, Parr agreed to meet the Youyan Grand Duke, froze You Er Wu, and led his Half-Orcs into the Western Mountain Range.

Ch. 208Pursuit and Escape

Parr led his group toward Blazing Rat Fortress to ambush the Charging Bull Tribe, while Heidi learned of Youyan Grand Duke’s scheme and planned his death. As Lucini was about to be captured by Black Armor Cavalry, Parr arrived and attacked them.

  • Parr evaded Youyan Grand Duke, renamed his wind-summoning sword the Wind Riding Sword, and led his disguised group south through the Western Mountain Range.
  • Heidi learned that Youyan Grand Duke had driven the Charging Bull Tribe toward Blazing Rat Fortress and resolved to kill him amid the coming battle.
  • Parr told Tail and Hu Ya that the Charging Bull Tribe would likely join the Cattail Bear Tribe to attack Blazing Rat Fortress, and planned to ambush them from the rear.
  • Parr spotted Lucini fleeing five Silver-level Black Armor Cavalry, who had cornered her and suppressed her horns with Red Robe’s curse.
  • As a Black Armor Cavalry soldier moved to capture Lucini, Parr rode in on Da Huang and sent the soldier flying with his spear.

Ch. 209Weakness

Parr rescued Lucy Ni from Black Armor Cavalrymen and brought her back to camp, where she recovered and learned that he was not a cultist. After dinner, she explained her situation and asked Parr's group to escort her to the nearest city so she could contact the Church.

  • Five Black Armor Cavalrymen combined their Battle Qi into a black bird, but Parr shattered their formation with Blade Condensation and killed or wounded them; the survivors swallowed poison before he could question them.
  • Parr found the unconscious Lucy Ni, carried her back to camp, and Hu Ya recognized her as a descendant of the Holy Dragon Family rather than a Half-Orc.
  • Lucy Ni woke up, suspected Parr and Hu Ya were cultists, and was told that Parr had rescued her; she remained doubtful until Hu Ya showed her the group eating dinner.
  • Lucy Ni ate two roasted rabbits and then explained what had happened after Parr teased her by touching her sensitive horns.
  • Lucy Ni asked Parr's group to escort her to the nearest city so she could reestablish contact with the Church.

Ch. 210Encounter

Parr rescued Lucy Ni, then changed course to pursue Red Robe after learning of his trail. Meanwhile, the Charging Bull and Cattail Bear Tribes attacked Blazing Rat Fortress, where the Youyan Grand Duke arrived to aid the Blazing Rat Marquis.

  • Parr agreed to take Lucy Ni along, and she accidentally cuddled up to him and let him stroke her horns before Tail knocked her away in jealousy.
  • Parr's group set out and wiped out a Black Armor Cavalry unit that was overwhelming adventurers and Church personnel.
  • Lucy Ni learned that Red Robe had gone ahead, so Parr's group joined the adventurers in following his trail.
  • The Charging Bull Tribe attacked Blazing Rat Fortress from one side while the Cattail Bear Tribe attacked from the other, forcing the Blazing Rat Marquis to face the Charging Bull Chieftain.
  • The Cattail Bear Chieftain went to breach the fortress, but the Youyan Grand Duke arrived with Elite Cavalry and charged at the Charging Bull Chieftain.

Ch. 211Fierce Battle

Youyan Grand Duke killed the Charging Bull Chieftain and turned the battle in the humans’ favor, then confronted Heidi, the mastermind behind the Youyan Family’s tragedy. After Heidi’s ambush failed, a black-clad figure disrupted her magic, allowing Youyan Grand Duke to break free and smash her into the ground.

  • Youyan Grand Duke fought the Charging Bull Chieftain while Blazing Rat Marquis battled the Cattail Bear Chieftain, and Heidi secretly waited for the fighters to weaken each other.
  • Youyan Grand Duke exploited the Charging Bull Chieftain’s distraction to kill him, while soldiers from Youyan Fortress attacked the Charging Bull Tribe from behind and the Cattail Bear Tribe retreated.
  • Heidi activated a composite Magic Array against the injured Youyan Grand Duke, and Blazing Rat Marquis prepared to turn against her but suddenly fled.
  • Youyan Grand Duke charged at Heidi to avenge his family, but she restrained him with magic until a black-clad figure emerged from his shadow and disrupted her control.
  • Youyan Grand Duke broke free of Heidi’s restraints, struck her despite her defensive Spiritual Tool, and drove her into a crater.

Ch. 212Book Page

Youyan Grand Duke killed Heidi, while Parr’s party reached the cultists’ gathering place after a Half-Orc soldier died from bloodline conflict. As the adventurers and Church members prepared to confront the enemy, Black Robe obtained the Death Aura book page, and a flying ship carrying Da Lianna approached after her God-Given Item reacted.

  • Youyan Grand Duke beat Heidi to death and turned toward a blood-red pillar of light rising south of Blazing Rat Fortress.
  • A Half-Orc soldier died suddenly from bloodline conflict, and Parr froze his body for burial and vowed to seek the Elf Race’s rumored cure.
  • Parr’s party found hundreds of cultists and thousands of Minotaurs working behind a barrier in a mountain clearing, where Lucy Ni reunited with her aunt Helena and had her curse removed.
  • Charging Bull Shaman handed Black Robe the Death Aura book page to fulfill their contract, while Parr sensed something vibrating inside Palm Space.
  • Da Lianna’s God-Given Item reacted aboard an approaching wooden flying ship, and she urged the crew to speed up.

Ch. 213War

Adventurers pursued the apparent Red Robe into a trap, where the Charging Bull Shaman used blood and sacrifice to awaken Wo Qi, the War God. Helena and the Church sealed Wo Qi inside a light cage, but he began testing its limits.

  • The red-robed Black Robe escaped through a teleportation array, while the adventurers fought the War Heretics and fell under the red stones’ battle-frenzy influence.
  • Helena cast Breath of Clarity to restore the adventurers’ senses, but the Charging Bull Shaman trapped them in a stronger Positioning Barrier as a red force gathered beneath them.
  • Parr broke the barrier with his saber, allowing the adventurers to escape before the Charging Bull Shaman sacrificed the minotaurs and War Heretics to awaken Wo Qi underground.
  • Wo Qi emerged as the clearing collapsed, and his energy drove some nearby people into a murderous frenzy.
  • Helena revealed that the Church had prepared to seal the War God and used a red stone slab and Dazzling Light to cage him.
  • Wo Qi broke part of the cage, discovered that the Church had turned his divine body into a restraint, and began spreading an ominous fluctuation.

Ch. 214Toying

The War God Wo Qi fought the Church’s efforts to reseal him, but Da Lianna and other divine believers intervened as his prison began to fail. A giant black sword appeared in the sky, while Red Robe, Black Robe, and Fei Ni advanced plans that could alter the continent’s fate.

  • Wo Qi absorbed power from the battle at Blazing Rat Fortress, transformed into a six-armed, serpent-tailed figure, and attacked the Church’s cage.
  • Red Robe told Black Robe that the Church could not seal Wo Qi again and took the gray book page, waiting for those he expected to arrive.
  • Da Lianna brought the True Believers of the gods to help the Church, while Parr resisted the Key’s urge to use Energy Points against Wo Qi.
  • The Church’s Radiance Crystal cracked, and Wo Qi destroyed his host body to unleash his divine power, breaking the believers’ restraints and damaging the cage.
  • A giant black sword emerged from the clouds, shocking Wo Qi, as Red Robe set out and Black Robe teleported away with a Black Armored Man and three thousand Death Guard stood ready at the Underground Palace entrance.
  • Fett accused Fei Ni of rewriting the continent’s fate, but she dismissed his warning that those who toyed with fate would be punished.

Ch. 215Stealing the Spoils

Parr used the Black Short Sword to help destroy the newly awakened War God, but Red Robe intervened and stole most of the spoils before escaping into the Magic Empire’s Ruins. Parr gained the War God’s Talent and discovered that maximizing it might require godhood, while the pursuers began descending after Red Robe and encountered an unexplained disappearance.

  • Parr unleashed the Black Short Sword, and with Lucy Ni, Da Lianna, the Church personnel, and the True Believers holding Wo Qi in place, he struck the War God with the black greatsword.
  • Red Robe used Damage Sharing to help Wo Qi resist the sword, then killed him by reaching into his head and took his Soul Source as the black greatsword crashed into the ground.
  • Parr discovered that Red Robe had stolen most of the spoils, then found the Stars Long Spear had gained the Overlord of War Talent and wondered whether godhood was needed to raise it to its maximum level.
  • The adventurers and others found the entrance to the Magic Empire’s Ruins beneath the impact site and decided to pursue Red Robe, while Da Lianna and Helena warned that dense death energy made the descent dangerous for anyone below Silver-level.
  • After Silver-level pursuers prepared and began entering the hole, the first person vanished at a certain depth, prompting alarm among those remaining above.

Ch. 216Ruins

Parr entered the Ruins, where random teleportation scattered the Silver-level explorers, and discovered that the passages held Gray Mist monsters and Black Armored Men tied to the Dawn Family. As Red Robe and Da Lianna pursued their separate aims involving the God of Death, Parr found a page from the Book of Death and reunited with Lucy Ni.

  • Parr entered the Ruins, fought off Gray Mist Figures, and enslaved a Black Armored Man whose allegiance to the Dawn Family was cut short when his head exploded.
  • Red Robe, gravely wounded by the God-Slaying Sword, used a fragment of a gray book to find his way through the passages.
  • Black Robe entered the Ruins’ central chamber and prayed to the statue of the God of Death as gray Book Pages emerged from his robe.
  • Da Lianna concluded that the Ruins sealed the God of Death and hurried to stop Red Robe, but Black Armored Men attacked her.
  • Parr’s black-covered book produced a page bearing the circular emblem from the murals, and Lucy Ni recognized it as a page from the Book of Death.

Ch. 217Sealing

Parr and Lucy Ni followed a page of the Book of Death through the Ruins as Red Robe reunited the scattered pages with Black Robe and the Death Saintess brought the final half. The complete Book of Death weakened the God of Death’s seal, leaving everyone in the Ruins unable to use energy as the Black Armored Men attacked.

  • Lucy Ni explained that pages from half of the Book of Death had been scattered after the Church of Neutral Light’s cathedral was attacked, and Parr realized the Death Heretics who came to Haystack Village had sought the page Old Man Rottus possessed.
  • Parr and Lucy Ni followed the floating page, while Lucy Ni left marks to guide other groups through the disorienting Ruins toward Red Robe.
  • Red Robe reached Black Robe in the central hall and returned his half of the Book of Death, causing its pages to gather around the statue as the seal began to crack.
  • Da Lianna sensed the God of Death’s imminent awakening and entered the central hall with Uncle Grey, where Black Robe welcomed her as the Death Saintess.
  • Da Lianna’s half of the Book of Death joined the other half, weakening the statue’s runes and releasing a ripple that stopped everyone in the Ruins from using energy.
  • The Black Armored Men attacked the powerless outsiders with weapons they had prepared.

Ch. 218You're Mine

The God of Death’s domain suppressed most powers in the Ruins, returning Parr to his child form and forcing Lucy Ni and the other adventurers to fight without their usual abilities. After Parr upgraded Danger Prediction to Level 5, he killed five Black Armored Men and charged at the one fighting Lucy Ni.

  • The God of Death’s aura suppressed non-followers in the Ruins, and Parr’s Disguise failed, revealing his child form and disabling most of his Talents.
  • Lucy Ni teased Parr, then pinned him down, bit his cheeks, healed the wounds with Dazzling Light, and declared that he was hers.
  • Lucy Ni explained that a Main God’s domain caused the suppression, then pursued the gray book page while Parr followed after confirming Energy Points still worked.
  • At the central hall, Lucy Ni fought a Black Armored Man who could use death energy, while Parr upgraded Danger Prediction to Level 5 and transformed his weapon into the Cyan White Long Saber.
  • Parr used Danger Prediction to cut down five Black Armored Men and then charged at the remaining Black Armored Man fighting Lucy Ni.

Ch. 219God of Death

Parr defeated the Black Armored Man while Lucy Ni watched, and the God of Death emerged from her seal in the Ruins. The Red Robe offered the God of Curse’s divinity in exchange for his wife’s soul, but their deal remained unresolved when other groups arrived and John found Parr.

  • Parr dodged the Black Armored Man’s attacks, cut him down with the Cyan White Long Saber, and restored his Stamina while Lucy Ni checked that he was unharmed.
  • The God of Death emerged from the shattered statue, reclaimed the Book of Death, and killed the Black Robe when he tried to attack the Red Robe.
  • The Red Robe offered the God of Death the God of Curse’s divinity in exchange for his wife’s soul, and she agreed to hear his trade after he threatened to take her down with him.
  • The God of Death turned toward the round hall’s stone doors as people began arriving, leaving the Red Robe’s requested exchange unanswered.
  • Vice Captain Charles, John, Helena, and others arrived, and John was astonished to find Parr there and demanded to know how he had reached the Ruins and gained his strength.

Ch. 220Black Mark

Charles’s group confronted the God of Death and the Red Robe in the circular hall, but their efforts to subdue them faltered as divine power overwhelmed the mortals. The God of Death summoned the dead to fight and called Da Lianna to her side.

  • Parr told John that he had joined the Youyan warriors and had followed the Black Armored Man after discovering a connection to the Dawn Family, prompting Vice Captain Charles to react with concern.
  • Charles used a cyan badge bestowed by the king to suppress the God of Death, while the badge’s power helped the group recover some of their strength.
  • Charles, John, and other knights attacked the Red Robe, but the Red Robe’s Weakness Curse brought them and several adventurers to the ground.
  • Lucy Ni and Helena used the Holy Dragon bloodline to try to seal the God of Death, but the rune they created was destroyed.
  • The God of Death used the Book of Death to summon War God Wo Qi and other people who had died in the Ruins, surrounding Lucy Ni and Helena.
  • The God of Death commanded Da Lianna to approach, and Da Lianna obeyed despite hesitating.

Ch. 221A Space

Parr and the others were transported into an ancient battlefield inside the Platinum Gold Pearl, where the God of Death was trapped and freed from the Black Mark’s influence. The Cyan Armored Man revealed he was only a fragment of a will, while the God of Death recalled the white-robed woman who had attacked her a thousand years earlier.

  • The God of Death tried to use Da Lianna, but Parr threw the Cyan White Long Saber and charged Red Robe as the Cyan Armored Man emerged from the blade and struck at her.
  • Red Robe revealed himself beside the grayish-white sphere and shattered it with a white metal fragment, transporting everyone into a vast, gray-fogged ancient battlefield.
  • Parr recovered his powers, found the Cyan Armored Man, and learned that the God of Death was under an influence and that the armored figure was only a fragment of someone’s will.
  • Parr reached the ruined temple at the center of the space, where a beam of light trapped the God of Death and burned away the Black Mark.
  • The God of Death remembered a thousand years earlier, when a white-robed woman stabbed her with a heavy sword and declared that the Age of Gods had ended.
