Ch. 162Collision

Parr discovered a Tiger Bone Tribe Forward Camp, alerted Spirit City, and mastered the Crescent Moon Battle Formation. He returned to challenge the camp, killed an Intermediate Bronze company commander, then fled when the Tiger-Head Orcs charged en masse.

  • Parr defeated ten Tiger-Head Orcs, then fled from their Battle Formation and reported the Forward Camp to Old Peter.
  • Old Peter sent a blue-smoke signal to Spirit City and warned the outpost that the Tiger Bone Tribe might attack.
  • Parr spent 2500 Life Energy Points to raise Crescent Moon Sword Art to max level and learned how Battle Formations worked.
  • Parr returned to the Forward Camp and killed an Intermediate Bronze company commander with a charged spear strike.
  • Parr taunted the camp, then ran when a large force of Tiger-Head Orcs charged after him.

Ch. 163Bathing

Parr discovered that the Tiger-Head Orcs had stopped responding to his taunts, then learned more about Half-Orcs while preparing a bath for Tail. After bathing Tail and himself, Parr fell asleep in the carriage.

  • Vice Commander Hu Mao forbade the Tiger-Head Orcs from leaving camp to fight Parr, and Parr returned to the outpost without gaining Energy Points.
  • Old Peter agreed to go with Parr the next day to investigate the Tiger-Head Orcs' unusual behavior.
  • Parr noticed Tail had grown and that her clothes were too tight, so he tore them off and prepared a warm bath for her.
  • Old Wolf told Parr that nearly all Half-Orcs were slaves because of bloodline defects and mentioned an Elf Magic Potion said to resolve their bloodline conflict.
  • Parr bathed Tail, dried her fluffy tail with a Fireball Spell, and dressed and fed her.
  • Parr released his Disguise state and bathed in the carriage while Tail watched, then drifted off to sleep.

Ch. 164Attack

Parr and Old Peter set out toward the Tiger Bone Tribe's Forward Camp, where an ambush wounded their horses but Parr killed the attackers and helped both horses become Quasi-Magical Beasts. At the camp, Old Peter confirmed the orcs were plotting something, while Hu Ya told Hu Mao that the main force would arrive in a few days and that they would quietly eliminate the human strongholds.

  • Parr woke after sleeping in an icy bath barrel, warmed the water with Fireball, and got dressed before joining the others at camp.
  • Parr and Old Peter rode out with Tail, while Hu Mao learned that a Captain had left the Forward Camp with four subordinates and decided to wait for his return.
  • A Tiger-Head Orc Captain and four other orcs ambushed Parr, Old Peter, and Tail; Parr killed them and used points of starlight to heal and empower Da Huang and Er Huang.
  • Parr and Old Peter reached the Forward Camp, where Old Peter threw the Captain's head inside and loudly taunted the orcs, who stayed put under the shaman's orders.
  • Hu Ya arrived and told Hu Mao that the main force would come in a few days and that they were to quietly eliminate the human strongholds.

Ch. 165Conspiracy

Parr discovered two War Heretics posing as adventurers, captured them, and forced one to reveal a plan to ambush Spirit City and ultimately attack Gold Crystal Fortress. Randy set out to deal with the hidden heretics at the Sentry Posts, and Parr agreed to join him.

  • Randy arrived at the Sentry Post with supplies and new personnel, while Parr reported that the Tiger-Head Orcs remained inside their Forward Camp.
  • Parr recognized two new adventurers as heretics, paralyzed and captured them, then proved their identity with the White Light Sword.
  • Parr used the Stars Long Spear to make one heretic reveal a coordinated surprise attack on Spirit City and the Tiger Bone Tribe's larger campaign against Gold Crystal Fortress.
  • Randy left to respond to the threat, returned, and asked Parr to help eliminate the heretics hidden in the Sentry Posts; Parr agreed.

Ch. 166Insubordination

Parr and Randy uncovered War Heretics throughout the Sentry Posts and rushed to Spirit City after finding one among Randy’s trained soldiers. They sealed the city and raided Martin Golden Dragonfly’s residence, where Parr identified the steward Land as an Apprentice-level heretic, leaving Randy to ask Parr to interrogate him.

  • Parr identified the soldier Randy had trained as a War Heretic, and Randy subdued him before containing his self-destruction with an earthen-yellow barrier.
  • Randy told Parr that a more important heretic was in Spirit City, and the two hurried there after collecting the night’s gains.
  • Randy mobilized his elite subordinates to seal Spirit City’s exits while Parr bought snacks with Tail.
  • Randy led Parr and his men to Martin Golden Dragonfly’s residence and ordered the mansion surrounded.
  • Parr identified the steward Land as an Apprentice-level heretic, and Randy restrained him despite Martin’s objections.
  • Randy ordered a search of the residence and asked Parr to interrogate Land about why he had become a heretic.

Ch. 167Ambush

Parr interrogated and killed Land, strengthened Tail, and upgraded Danger Prediction before joining Randy’s force for an ambush against the Tiger Bone Tribe. As the Tiger-Head Orcs advanced toward the hidden soldiers, Hu Ya and Hu Mao believed Spirit City’s defenses had already fallen, leaving the attack poised to begin.

  • Parr learned that Land had joined the War Heretics out of jealousy and that the group’s Spirit City leader was the deputy of a War Heretic Parr had previously interrogated, then killed Land.
  • Parr and Randy confirmed that the people removed from the mansion were not War Heretics, and Randy arranged for them to depart at noon.
  • Parr spent five white light points to raise Tail to Advanced Knight Apprentice, absorbed the remaining Energy Points, and upgraded Danger Prediction to LV4.
  • Randy led five hundred elite soldiers west, imposed martial law in Spirit City, and hid his troops at an ambush site near the second-to-last Sentry Post.
  • Martin Golden Dragonfly received a message from the Golden Dragonfly Earl’s men and responded with wild laughter.
  • Hu Mao led roughly four hundred Tiger-Head Orcs toward Spirit City while Hu Ya assured them that the human sentry posts had fallen and Randy was likely dead.

Ch. 168Disguise

Parr and Old Wolf disguised themselves as War Heretics to lead Hu Mao’s Tiger-Head Orcs into an ambush, but Hu Ya discovered their identities and demanded the tribe’s slaves. Parr froze Hu Ya and rode to help as the Forward Camp’s formation fell into chaos.

  • Parr and Old Wolf staged the Sentry Post with corpses and waited for Hu Mao’s Tiger-Head Orcs to arrive.
  • Hu Ya confirmed Parr’s identity from a portrait, and Hu Mao’s men searched the post before the group moved out with Parr and Old Wolf.
  • Hu Ya privately identified Parr and Old Wolf as impostors, then asked Parr to give her the Tiger Bone Tribe’s slaves after its destruction.
  • Parr refused Hu Ya’s request, froze her in ice, and threw her into the snow.
  • Parr restored his face and rode toward the ambushed Tiger-Head Orcs while Old Wolf stayed behind to guard Hu Ya.

Ch. 169Overwhelming Victory (End of Volume)

Randy’s forces ambushed and destroyed the Tiger Bone Tribe’s Forward Camp, then learned from Hu Ya that the tribe’s main force was far larger and stronger than expected. As Randy prepared to attack the final Sentry Post, he revealed Spirit City’s secret weapon.

  • Hu Mao’s Tiger-Head Orcs were caught in Randy’s ambush, and Parr killed Hu Mao as the battle turned into a rout.
  • Randy’s soldiers slaughtered the Forward Camp’s Tiger-Head Orcs with only around ten casualties, then advanced toward the final Sentry Post.
  • Hu Ya offered intelligence about the Tiger Bone Tribe’s main force in exchange for its slaves, and Parr signed a contract with her.
  • Hu Ya revealed that the tribe had roughly three thousand Tiger-Head Orcs, including Silver-level leaders Tiger Bone and Tiger Skin.
  • Randy declared he was confident despite his smaller force and produced Spirit City’s secret weapon.

Ch. 170In Your Face

Parr and Randy ambushed the Tiger Bone Tribe’s marching force, using a Spirit Tool Cannon to target the Tiger Bone Shaman and Chief Tiger Skin. Parr killed the Shaman and struck down the badly wounded Chief, leaving the tribe’s command in disarray.

  • Randy revealed his Spirit Tool Cannon and planned to use it to kill the Tiger Bone Tribe’s leaders, but Parr offered to carry it into the battle himself.
  • Parr demonstrated that he could store the cannon in his Palm Space, and Randy entrusted the mission to him.
  • Randy led five hundred soldiers in an ambush at the narrow road by the sentry post, disrupting the Tiger-Head Orcs’ formation.
  • Parr approached the carriage with the cannon, used Danger Prediction to choose a teleport location, and appeared beside the Tiger Bone Shaman.
  • Parr fired the Spirit Tool Cannon at close range, then stabbed the Shaman through the head with his Stars Long Spear.
  • The blast nearly destroyed Chief Tiger Skin’s body, and Parr pinned him to the ground with a Black Long Spear.

Ch. 171The End

Parr helped Randy and Spirit City destroy the Tiger Bone Tribe’s main force, killing its shaman, chieftain, and commander. Afterward, he counted his Energy Point gains and decided to form his own army from the tribe’s Half-Orc slaves.

  • After the shaman and chieftain died, Parr hunted down Tiger-Head Orc Captains while Randy and his fighters disrupted the enemy formations.
  • The Tiger-Head Orc Commander rallied several hundred soldiers, but Parr teleported into their formation and scattered them with Fireball Spells.
  • Parr killed the commander with Blade Separation, Freeze Spells, and Blade Condensation, causing the Tiger-Head Orcs to flee as Randy led the charge.
  • At dawn, Randy declared Parr a friend of Spirit City, and Parr reunited with Tail, Da Huang, and Er Huang.
  • Parr counted the Energy Points earned from the battle and decided to build an army from the Tiger Bone Tribe’s Half-Orc slaves.

Ch. 172Winning Her Over

Parr learned that Hu Ya was a Half-Orc fighting to free Half-Orc slaves, then proved he could increase their strength and recruited her to help build a Half-Orc army. Hu Ya accepted his offer and went off to cool down, while Tail demanded Parr’s attention and was asked if she wanted to become Bronze-level.

  • Hu Ya revealed her human form and explained her mixed ancestry, her work with the Freedom Alliance, and her goal of freeing Half-Orc slaves.
  • Hu Ya invited Parr to join the Freedom Alliance, but Parr challenged whether Half-Orcs could keep their freedom without the strength to defend it.
  • Parr grabbed Hu Ya’s tail, and Tail pulled Hu Ya away before Hu Ya argued that Half-Orcs could become strong like Tail.
  • Parr told Hu Ya he could grant Half-Orcs strength and offered her a choice between abandoning her ideal and joining him; Hu Ya took his hand.
  • Parr used ten points of light from the Stars Long Spear to raise Hu Ya’s strength to the peak of the Apprentice-level, and she pledged herself to his cause.
  • Parr asked Hu Ya to select Half-Orc slaves for his planned army when they returned to Spirit City, and Tail sulked until he asked whether she wanted to become Bronze-level.

Ch. 173News

Parr helped Tail reach Peak Knight Apprentice, but her body soon triggered a fiery breakthrough to Bronze-level that consumed more of his Life Energy. Meanwhile, Spirit City was stripped of supplies and faced an approaching orc army, leaving Randy to confront the threat and Martin Golden Dragonfly’s demand for an apology.

  • Parr raised Tail to Peak Knight Apprentice, then used five Life Energy Points to sustain her sudden breakthrough to Bronze-level as red Battle Qi burned her clothes.
  • A rider reported that people from Gold Crystal Fortress had taken Spirit City’s supplies and left its residents behind, so Randy returned to the city that night.
  • Randy reassured Spirit City’s people and discovered that the captured Tiger Bone Tribe’s food would last only one or two weeks.
  • Hu Ya, Parr, and the supply manager arrived as Randy received word that the Charging Bull Tribe’s army would reach Spirit City in a week.
  • Randy read Martin Golden Dragonfly’s demand that he personally apologize at Gold Crystal Fortress or face death, while the wider threat to the fortress cluster became clear.

Ch. 174Assassination

Parr and Randy went to Gold Crystal Fortress to ask Martin Golden Dragonfly to shelter Spirit City, while Parr secretly planned to assassinate him. After killing Martin and taking his place, Parr began the final stage of their cover-up, but Hu Ya hesitated to help complete it.

  • Randy agreed to apologize to Martin, and Parr and Hu Ya plotted a plan to deal with him.
  • Randy, Parr, Hu Ya, and Tail traveled to Gold Crystal Fortress, where Martin made them wait and humiliated Randy before accepting their gifts and agreeing to shelter Spirit City's people.
  • Parr used Hu Ya's appearance as his disguise while Hu Ya and Tail posed as gifts for Martin.
  • Hu Ya took Martin's Spirit Tool Ring, allowing Parr to paralyze and kill him with a spell and a poisoned powder.
  • Parr hid Martin's body, disguised himself as Martin, and used a prepared corpse to deceive the guards.
  • Parr, Hu Ya, and Tail staged sounds to make the guards believe Martin was with them, but Hu Ya asked Parr to help her make the required noises.

Ch. 175Empowerment

Parr used his identity as Martin Golden Dragonfly to gather people and supplies at Gold Crystal Fortress, then began turning Half-Orc slaves into soldiers with the Stars Long Spear. After Martin’s guards abandoned him, Parr arranged to replace the fortress soldiers assigned to protect him with his own people.

  • Parr brought Spirit City’s people to Gold Crystal Fortress and selected thirty-four strong Half-Orc slaves to become his soldiers.
  • Tail promised the Half-Orcs daily meals, inspiring them to respond enthusiastically to Parr’s plan.
  • Parr used the Stars Long Spear to turn all thirty-four Half-Orcs into Elementary Knight Apprentices and put Hu Ya in charge of them, with Old Peter and Little Peter helping train them.
  • The guard captain and Martin’s guards decided to leave and return to the Golden Dragonfly Family, freeing Parr to build his own guard force.
  • After the fortress commander sent soldiers to protect Martin, Parr told Hu Ya to have Randy replace them with their own people and planned to appoint Old Wolf as guard captain.

Ch. 176Oath

Parr, disguised as Martin Golden Dragonfly, recruited Old Wolf and set out from Gold Crystal Fortress to find a powerful Magic Beast. On the journey, he learned about beastfolk and Half-Orc paths to Bronze-level and considered helping Hu Ya advance.

  • Parr revealed his identity to Old Wolf, empowered him with the Stars Long Spear, and secured his oath of loyalty, which formed a Soul Contract.
  • Parr learned that silver points of light could force contracts with creatures marked by white points of light, with stronger targets requiring more points.
  • Parr and Old Wolf recruited Black Snake after he reported rumors of a Peak Bronze Magic Beast in the northern mountains.
  • Parr led Hu Ya, Tail, Old Wolf, Black Snake, and thirty-four Half-Orcs out of Gold Crystal Fortress toward the mountains; Old Tom chose not to send Martin protection after learning he had left.
  • Parr asked Hu Ya about Bronze-level breakthroughs and suggested she use the Pureblood Ritual, while Tail jealously leaped into Parr's arms.

Ch. 177Tiger and Wolf

Parr found a Flame Tail Tiger preparing to break through to Silver-level with a rare two-colored flower, while an Ice Wolf Leader waited to challenge it. After the tiger consumed the flower and completed its breakthrough, the Ice Wolf Leader opened their battle with an Ice Shard Breath.

  • Black Snake led Parr and his group to a snowy mountain forest and showed them where a tiger-type Magic Beast had been spotted.
  • Parr used Bright Eyes to locate a Flame Tail Tiger and discovered it was waiting for a rare ice-and-fire Snow After Ice Crystal Flower to bloom.
  • Parr decided to wait until the Flame Tail Tiger broke through before making a move, while Old Wolf kept Black Snake from leaving.
  • An Ice Wolf pack surrounded the Flame Tail Tiger, but its leader called them back to face the tiger alone after it reached Silver-level.
  • The Flame Tail Tiger ate the blooming flower and broke through to Silver-level, then the Ice Wolf Leader attacked with an Ice Shard Breath.

Ch. 178Flame

Parr’s Crescent Moon Battle Formation killed the ice wolves and helped Big Head Tiger sacrifice itself so the Ice Wolf Leader could break through to Silver-level. Tail then unleashed a red flame that killed the newly advanced wolf, leaving Parr to question her origins and the power sealed in her golden collar.

  • Big Head Tiger struck the Ice Wolf Leader with an ice-and-fire attack, then fought it in a brutal melee as the wounded wolf refused to fall.
  • Parr led Hu Ya and the thirty-four Half-Orcs in the Crescent Moon Battle Formation, using it to kill the seven ice wolves that attacked them.
  • Parr’s final Crescent Moon strike killed the remaining eight ice wolves, and Big Head Tiger sacrificed itself to give the Ice Wolf Leader a chance to break through to Silver-level.
  • Tail transferred her red flame to Parr, whose Blade Separation attack set the newly advanced Ice Wolf Leader ablaze; Parr then ended its suffering with the Stars Long Spear.
  • Parr examined Tail’s golden collar with the Cyan White Long Saber and sensed a world-burning power, then wondered where Tail had come from.

Ch. 179Magic Potion

After returning to Gold Crystal Fortress, Parr recruited Black Snake and prepared to advance Old Wolf and Hu Ya. When a hired Magic Potion Maker failed to brew a Breakthrough Potion, Parr used the attempt to learn the process and began making one himself.

  • Black Snake pledged himself to Parr, who raised his strength and assigned him to work under Old Wolf.
  • Parr returned to Gold Crystal Fortress and was told to accompany the Gold Crystal Earl the next day.
  • Parr sent Old Wolf and Black Snake to find a Magic Potion Maker, then watched the Two-Star Magic Potion Maker fail to prepare a Breakthrough Potion.
  • Parr upgraded Refinement to Three-Star, extracted bloodline essence from a Bronze-level Ice Wolf heart, and ordered potion ingredients.
  • Parr began combining the elemental essences from the ingredients to brew the Breakthrough Potion himself.

Ch. 180Test Medicine

Parr tested his dangerous homemade Breakthrough Potion on a condemned prisoner, whose successful breakthrough led Parr to recruit him as Ma Gan. Parr then prepared a stronger potion from the Ice Wolf Leader’s bloodline essence and began Old Wolf’s breakthrough, while advancing Black Snake to Advanced Knight Apprentice.

  • Parr used Danger Prediction to finish a black, highly poisonous Breakthrough Potion and paid the Warden to release a condemned Peak Knight Apprentice for testing.
  • The prisoner drank Parr’s potion and used the Ice Wolf Magic Crystal to attempt a breakthrough, but Parr supplied extra energy to keep his weakened body from failing.
  • After reaching Bronze-level and breaking his shackles, the prisoner pledged himself to Parr, who named him Ma Gan and ordered him to reclaim and expand his former territory.
  • Parr upgraded Talent Refinement to Level 4 and made a dark-blue Breakthrough Potion from the Ice Wolf Leader’s bloodline essence.
  • Old Wolf began his Bronze-level breakthrough with the new potion, while Parr used five white points of light to raise Black Snake to Advanced Knight Apprentice.

Ch. 181Unexpected

Parr helped Old Wolf and Hu Ya break through, then accompanied the disguised Martin Golden Dragonfly to welcome Golden Dragonfly Earl at Gold Crystal Fortress. Danger Prediction made Parr stop before an ambush killed the Earl and engulfed the others in a beam of light.

  • Parr watched Old Wolf complete his breakthrough to Bronze level, then spent the night brewing a difficult Breakthrough Potion for Hu Ya.
  • Hu Ya drank the potion and broke through, displaying both fire and ice energy before Parr collapsed from exhaustion.
  • Parr woke in Hu Ya's embrace, learned she had sworn her life to him, and endured a jealous outburst from Tail.
  • Parr went to the fortress wall with Old Tom to await Golden Dragonfly Earl and his convoy, while the Earl's other sons greeted Parr with concealed malice.
  • Parr's Danger Prediction warned him to stop as a beam of light struck the welcoming party, dissolving Golden Dragonfly Earl into slag despite Old Tom's attempt to protect him.
