Just then, some robots came out of the city.
She glanced at them and sighed, then paid them no more attention.
Based on what they had observed over the past few days, these robots seemed to have no malice toward them at all. They had merely used their irresistible strength to drive them out of the city.
It filled her with overwhelming sorrow. These robots didn't care about their resistance or what they thought. No matter how they fought back, how they screamed, or how they struggled, the only result was being told to get out of humanity's home. The robots only retaliated when someone attacked them.
It was hopeless and despairing!
"What exactly are you trying to do?!"
She looked toward the city in the distance. The giant EVA had already disappeared.
"All savages, line up over here for identity registration!"
In the distance, some humans emerged under the robots' escort.
The crowd immediately began to stir.
"Where did these people come from? How can this be?!"
Misato Katsuragi stared in shock at the humans who were clearly being escorted by the robots. She was utterly astonished. By all rights, the humans in this city should have all been driven out. Where had these people come from?
Soon, the savages gathered outside the city reached its outskirts and lined up under the robots' warnings.
