At those words, all the Shadow Gods fell silent.
"Actually... that does seem to be the case..."
Soon, one of the Shadow Gods spoke. An inexplicable sense of dread welled up in the hearts of these ancient, powerful, nearly immortal gods. It was the terror of facing the unknown—especially when the world tree they relied on to survive was the thing that had gone wrong!
"Looks like you've figured it out!"
Just then, a cold voice, like that of a robot, rang out from the shadows.
"Who is it?!"
One of the Shadow Gods immediately sprang into action, frantically searching for the source of the voice.
Some of them found the voice vaguely familiar.
"It's you, Destroyer Armor!!!"
At last, one of the Shadow Gods remembered who the voice belonged to: the Destroyer Armor. It had originally been Odin's armor, but not long ago, during a battle, it had separated from Odin End. For some unknown reason, it had gained immense power. As a suit of armor, it had shattered Thor and Hela's Kingmaker Souls with three strikes, then turned the tables on Odin, who should have been controlling it, making him the one controlled by the armor.
A suit of armor had become the king of Asgard!
And yet, no one in all of Asgard could resist the armor.
The Shadow Gods naturally knew about the upheaval in Asgard, but they hadn't paid it much attention. They were eternal and immortal, and the gods' fates had long since been decided. Asgard had a new king? So what? It didn't matter. They hadn't expected that they'd already been discovered—and even secretly sabotaged.
"That's right, it's me! Shadow Gods, I'll give you a chance. Submit to my lord and hand over all authority over the world tree. Otherwise, don't blame me
