"Xue'er?"
As soon as Qian Daoliu's voice fell, Qian Renxue came rushing toward the Angel Statue, looking utterly lost.
With a thud, Qian Renxue dropped directly to her knees.
Her knees slammed into the cold golden bricks with a muffled sound, yet she seemed completely unaware of it.
She stared at the statue's compassionate eyes, gently pressed her forehead to the floor before her, and trembled uncontrollably.
Qian Daoliu's brows furrowed slightly. He rose and hurried over, just reaching out to help her when he heard her repeatedly muttering:

"Xue'er, what happened?"
Qian Daoliu softened his voice, a trace of barely perceptible concern showing through.
"Tell Grandpa. Grandpa's here."
But Qian Renxue acted as though she hadn't heard him and maintained her kneeling position.
Her forehead pressed against the cold floor as she repeated only one sentence:
"This is impossible!"
"Xue'er! What happened? Tell Grandpa! Even if the sky falls, Grandpa will hold it up for you!"
Qian Daoliu's voice grew urgent. He crouched down and asked gently..
Qian Renxue seemed to have completely sunk into her own world, utterly unaware of everything around her.
She remained kneeling there with her forehead against the floor, still muttering those same jumbled words: "This is impossible."
Seeing his granddaughter trapped in a daze, Qian Daoliu paced anxiously nearby, not knowing what he should do.
Just then, wisps of extremely faint black energy slowly appeared around Qian Renxue. Like ink dropped into clear water, they coiled around her without dispersing.
