Final Thoughts and Reflections

This was a belated set of final thoughts.

I truly had to thank every reader of this book. Your subscriptions and monthly votes gave me a helping hand.

They let The Truth of Magic, even if it could not be called a hit, at least break into the top six to ten of the game category's bestseller and monthly vote rankings.

Let us go back to late January 2020, during the pandemic. Trapped indoors and unable to go out, this author went up to the rooftop for some air, then returned and furiously wrote a 4,000-word opening before uploading it.

Before that, there had actually been an even earlier opening: Arthur was a personal game, and the protagonist was an administrator. After turning thirty, he had to abandon his hobby and face reality, posting an announcement that the servers would shut down. Later, that card became Antinoa's card.

So the protagonist ended up without a card instead. Whenever he gained a level, I pasted on that level's abilities. Equipment, spells, and so on were all arranged as needed, which also planted hidden problems for acquiring equipment later on.

I got flamed countless times at the beginning of this book. I could see the deleted comments in the backend, and they were hard to describe.

A Character Card was established in Chapter 4, the game began in Chapter 7, the first monster was fought in Chapter
