Li Mo arrived in time to save Bai Ze and expose Lu Wu’s role in controlling Ying Zhao and the demon soldiers. Lu Wu revealed that Quasi-Saint Ping Peng was behind the scheme and offered to take Li Mo to meet him.

• Ying Zhao attacked Bai Ze, but Bai Ze used Li Mo’s talisman to open a Space Gate and summon Li Mo and his allies.
• Li Mo’s companions subdued Ying Zhao, while Lu Wu fled and trapped Yun Zhongjun inside a spirit-treasure tower.
• Li Mo captured Lu Wu, and Shang Yang threatened him with torture until he agreed to talk.

• Xuan Feng explained that Ping Peng could exploit the conflict between Li Mo, the Heavenly Emperor, and the Witch Clan, but Li Mo ordered an attack after Ping Peng called on Lu Wu to confirm her claims.
• Xuan Feng killed Lu Wu with her poisonous needle, and she and Yun Zhongjun attacked Ping Peng’s right hand as he used his rake to defend himself.

Mang Tian and Shan Ding struggled through Li Mo’s formation while Jiu Chi became trapped in a looping path. At dawn, Li Mo revealed that he had exhausted more than a dozen Nether Clan intruders with his formations, leaving Lei Ya and Yong Xie stunned.

• Mang Tian attacked the mist formation, but Shan Ding’s Heaven Suppressing Pagoda struck him before Shan Ding recognized him and returned his stolen Black Fang.
• Shan Ding told Mang Tian that brute force could not break the vast formation, and they agreed to find Jiu Chi and join forces against You Feng.

Li Mo and his companions fled toward the Northern Darkness Sea while Lei Ya and his allies tracked them using Person-Seeking Bees. When the pursuers caught up, Li Mo disguised himself as Daoist Yuanshi and used Jiu Chi and the Sea-Calming Pearls to fend off their attacks.

• Yong Qie warned Li Mo that Daoist Venerable Kun Ling had predicted a deadly upheaval in the Northern Darkness Sea, but Li Mo dismissed the danger, and Jiu Chi pointed out that their ship was going the wrong way.
• Lei Ya and the others found You Feng's corpse on Yun Feng Island, and Yun Ling released Person-Seeking Bees that followed You Lian's aura eastward.

• Tong Shan used the Indestructible Bell to shield himself, Yun Ling, Lei Ya, and Three-Eyed Netherworld from Li Mo and his companions’ attacks.
• Three-Eyed Netherworld’s enhanced Eye of Truth revealed a false weakness at the center of Li Mo’s Sea-Calming Pearls, and Yun Ling struck them.

As the group emerged into the cleared space, Yun Ling’s Immeasurable Pagoda exploded, leaving her and her companions stunned.

• Inside the Immeasurable Pagoda, Li Mo and his companions discovered their cultivation was suppressed and were attacked by spirits that re-formed after being destroyed.
• Li Mo summoned the Chaos Green Lotus, which immobilized the spirits and restored the group’s strength, and You Lian revealed it had preserved her spirit.
• Li Mo summoned the God Slaying Gourd and absorbed the spirits, bones, and pools of blood, causing the darkness inside the pagoda to vanish.
