After the final battle of the Witch-Demon Tribulation, Fu Xi fell and became a soul that escaped into the mortal world. Nuwa also left Nuwa Palace on Buzhou Mountain to manage the fortunes and misfortunes of the Human Race.
Now, on Buzhou Immortal Mountain, only the Three Sceneries Temple at central Kunlun, Eight Sceneries Palace near the temple, Biyou Palace on the eastern side of Kunlun near the East Sea, Jade Void Palace near western Kunlun, and Queen Mother's Immortal Palace in western Kunlun had anyone living in them.
These five great palaces were where the Three Pure Ones gathered, the Dao Fields the Three Pure Ones had established when they founded their respective teachings, and Queen Mother of the West's Dao Field.
Aside from these four immortal sages of the Primordial World, renowned since the Witch-Demon Tribulation, Buzhou Immortal Mountain was home to countless natural spirits, several thousand attendants and palace guards, and hundreds of disciples from the Three Teachings, all living in their respective Dao Fields.
