But just as Wemby had come to a stop, Wang Yi's feet landed in front of him.

The instant Wang Yi landed, however, he pushed off hard.

The tremendous force made the floor buckle slightly beneath him, and it immediately drove back against his legs.

Using that rebound, Wang Yi shot into the air like a rocket.

Wemby could only manage to raise his arms. He didn't have time to jump.

And so he saw the same thing happen again: Wang Yi's chest rapidly rose to his face, then his stomach, and then his knees.

Wemby's face darkened. Was he about to get dunked on just like before?

But this time, he was wrong.

After leaping into the air, Wang Yi kept driving forward.

His knees were already in front of Wemby's face. Wang Yi spread his legs and flew right over Wemby's head.

Then he let out a furious roar. "Screw you!"

He slammed the ball in his hands toward the rim.

As he dunked, Wemby's arm brushed against Wang Yi's leg, throwing him slightly off balance. The ball struck the front of the rim.

After hitting the rim, the basketball actually caved in, visibly deforming.

But even so, Wang Yi still managed to force it through the hoop.

In that moment, there was silence!

Utter silence!

The entire Spectrum Center had become a vast, genuine tomb.

It was as if the arena had turned into a vacuum, with not a sound escaping.

Everyone sat frozen, like clay figures in a grave.

A child eating popcorn held a piece up to his mouth, then forgot to chew.

A young man drinking Coke had let it flow back down the straw into the can.

He'd forgotten to keep sipping.
