Wang Yi took another basketball from the basket beside him. He tossed it up with his left hand, and as it came down, he slammed his right fist into it.

The basketball flew off again, at tremendous speed.
Once again, it smashed into the opposite wall and bounced back.
The gym attendant watching nearby felt baffled.
What was Wang practicing?
He worked as an attendant here, and players from many other cities came to practice. He was often lucky enough to see them.
Some came to work on their muscles, some to practice three-pointers, some to practice layups, and others to work on passing and dribbling.
But he had never seen anyone practice like Wang Yi.
What exactly was punching a basketball supposed to train?
Still, Wang Yi had clearly gotten into the groove, so the attendant didn't disturb him. He simply helped by retrieving the balls Wang Yi knocked away and putting them back in the basket.
Wang Yi hit the ball with such force that after it smashed into the opposite wall, it bounced back toward this side of the court. In practice, you only had to take a few steps to retrieve it and put it back in the basket.
About fifteen minutes later, the attendant's son, Wang Kazafy, arrived.
His wife came at the same time.
They were both thrilled to see Wang.
His wife wanted to ask Wang Yi for an autograph right away, but Kazafy shook his head.
"He's practicing. We can ask after he's finished. For now, let's just help him retrieve the balls."
So the family of three quietly helped Wang retrieve the balls. While doing so, they spoke in low voices, as if afraid of disturbing him.
For a fan, quietly watching their idol from the sidelines was already a
