After the final round of voting ended, Wang Yi deservedly became this year's NBA Top Voted Player.

Pang Bo was also named an NBA All-Star.

The following players were selected for the International Stars:

Wang Yi, Pang Bo, Doncic, Jokic, Juan, Holmgren...

Pang Bo and Juan were both sophomores on this roster.

Their skills had reached the first tier in the NBA, but they were only at the very bottom of it.

That seemed to give the U.S. stars a stronger lineup.

They had King Arthur, Morant, Tatum, Jalen Green, Antetokounmpo, Zion, Wemby, Embiid, Augustin, Edwards, and others.

Wemby, Embiid, and Antetokounmpo had originally been international stars, but all three had become U.S. citizens in recent years, so they counted as American stars.

By comparison, the international stars leaned more toward skill, while the American stars were mostly athletic freaks.

That made this matchup especially exciting.

On the first two nights of All-Star Weekend, the Slam Dunk Contest and Three-Point Contest were, as usual, utterly dull.

They were both full of no-name NBA players.

Next came the Rookie Challenge, with the first-years facing the second-years.

Pang Bo and Juan were the standouts in that game.

At first, they played separately, with their minutes staggered.

But in the second half, the coach put them on the court together, forming a twin-tower pairing in the paint.

On defense, their towering presence made it impossible for the opposing stars to get anything going inside. On offense, both Pang Bo and Juan had tremendous scoring ability.

When they were on the floor together, they often ran a high-low game, with Pang Bo down low and Juan at the high post.
