The spectators on the sidelines erupted into wild cheers.
"Nice!"
"Three straight and-ones! The Dragon King is unstoppable!"
"If my three-point touch isn't there, I'll just go for and-ones. That works too!"
Wang Yi stepped to the free-throw line and sank another shot with pinpoint accuracy.
Now the lead was down to just seven points.
The Raptors fans, who had been feeling a little desperate, suddenly saw hope.
The other players' shots were ice-cold, and the team was moving forward entirely on Wang Yi's back. His three-point touch was freezing cold today, too.
In those circumstances, trailing by twelve at the start of the fourth quarter made it hard to believe they could catch up. But no one had expected Wang Yi to claw the deficit down to just seven after only four possessions, by scoring three straight and-ones.
How could the fans not be ecstatic?
After Wang Yi made the free throw, the Kings' head coach immediately called a timeout.
During the timeout, he addressed the players sternly. "If he drives inside, defend him with everything you've got. You can foul him to stop him from scoring, or let him score two without fouling. But under no circumstances can you let him score two and draw a foul!"
The players answered in unison.
The head coach then sent all his starters back onto the court. He was ready to begin the decisive battle early, too.
As soon as play resumed, Danny opened with a three-pointer.
He pushed the lead back up to ten, making the fans in the arena grit their teeth in hatred of him.
"No wonder they call him the God of Slaughter. His threes are deadly!"
"Not just deadly—they crush your spirit."
"If he hit a three like that against me on the court, I might
