The island was filled with the constant roars of dinosaurs. They charged out of the forests, crashing into trees and snapping them in half one after another.

The volcano in the distance seemed to be erupting more violently by the minute.

Thick smoke billowed high into the sky.

From within the smoke, enormous rocks wreathed in fire and smoke hurtled in every direction.

They were like meteorites falling from the heavens.

Every so often, one crashed down around the basketball court, leaving a massive crater more than twenty meters across.

Sometimes they landed closer, and both Wang Yi and Jordan could feel the waves of heat wash over them.

The basketball court, too, was shrouded in thick smoke.

By now, eleven minutes had passed in this game.

Wang Yi and Jordan were tied at 10–10.

One basket would decide the winner.

Likewise, beads of sweat seeped from his bald head and ran down its sides.
