Entering the Formation

Shi Yue was a little surprised. He had seen this before when he cut down the Thousand-Year Spirit Bamboo. Could all the spiritual trees in this dense forest be a thousand years old?

After some thought, he slapped the Storage Bag at his waist. The Azure Dragon Sword flew out and slashed fiercely at a towering tree.

There was a soft thud, and a slightly deeper white mark appeared on the tree's surface.

Shi Yue gaped. The Azure Dragon Sword was a magic treasure, yet it couldn't cut down a towering tree.

Before he could figure out why, a gale sprang up out of nowhere. All the towering trees began shaking violently, and tens of thousands of leaves fluttered down, shooting toward Shi Yue from every direction.

Seeing the leaves come at him in a sweeping tide, Shi Yue furrowed his brow and made a Hand Seal with one hand. The Red Giant Sword blurred and split into eighteen Li Fire Swords. Each sword spun rapidly, transforming into a Red Disc, and the eighteen discs whirled around Shi Yue.

Shi Yue made another Hand Seal with one hand. With a loud hiss, a vast swath of crimson flames appeared one after another across the surfaces of the eighteen Red Discs.

He pointed at the space between his brows. A streak of red light flew out and blurred, transforming into a vast swath of crimson flames that enveloped him.

With a series of loud hisses, the countless leaves struck the eighteen Red Discs. The moment they touched the crimson flames on their surfaces, they caught fire and burned to ash.

The few leaves that slipped through were stopped by the crimson flames formed from the Exotic Fire. Shi Yue was unharmed.

Shi Yue was sure he was trapped in a killing
