Space Nodes
At the foot of a snow-capped mountain that soared into the heavens stood a black plaque more than ten zhang tall, bearing the three carved characters "Polar Peak."
At the summit of Polar Peak stood a magnificent White Palace. Hanging above its entrance was a gleaming golden plaque, on which the three characters "Polar Palace" had been carved in elegant, flowing strokes.
Lin Piaoxue was the Grand Elder of Polar Palace. Though more than eight hundred years old, she had reached the Nascent Soul Middle Stage Peak.
Lin Piaoxue had rarely shown herself in recent years, leaving all matters, great and small, to Vice Palace Master Zhao Yuru. But on this day, she emerged from seclusion because two very important guests had arrived.
She sat in the seat of honor, with Zhao Yuru beside her. Seated below Lin Piaoxue were two men in black robes: Xie Chong and Yu Xin.
Over the past two years, the two men had traveled across most of Star Sand Continent. After much difficulty, they had learned that there were Space Nodes within Polar Palace's territory, and so they hurried there. After some discussion, they had managed to meet Lin Piaoxue, Polar Palace's Grand Elder.
"Fellow Daoist Xie, Fellow Daoist Yu, Junior Sister Zhao tells me you're looking for Space Nodes?" Lin Piaoxue narrowed her cloudy eyes and asked.
"Precisely. I'll speak plainly: I've heard there are quite a few Space Nodes within your sect's territory. I hope Fellow Daoist Lin will do us a favor and tell us where they are. I'd be grateful." Xie Chong nodded and spoke courteously.
"You truly came here in search of Space Nodes?" Lin Piaoxue furrowed her brows.
