Shi Yue snorted and didn't answer.
"Hmph, you refuse a toast only to drink a forfeit. Li He, do it." The girl in red snorted and spoke in a chilly voice.
Li He acknowledged her and raised the Red Longsword in his hand, bringing it down toward Shi Yue.
Shi Yue's expression didn't change. He stood perfectly still.
He was betting that he wouldn't die. If she really wanted to kill him, she would have done it already. She wouldn't spare his life just because he had some backbone.
Just as Shi Yue had expected, the Red Longsword didn't come down on his head. Instead, it sliced through the shackles on his feet and handcuffs.
That was close. Shi Yue let out a long breath in his heart. He knew he had won the bet.
The girl in red's expression softened. She giggled at the Middle-aged Beautiful Woman and said, "Aunt Zhou, I told you! Anyone who dares escape from a mine certainly isn't afraid of death. This fellow really isn't afraid to die."

"Sell me?" Shi Yue furrowed his brows.
He hadn't expected to be treated like a piece of merchandise. It seemed the only reason he was still alive was that the girl in red planned to sell him.
