After conducting a preliminary excavation of the ruins, Brann had learned some of their history. Ten thousand years ago, they had belonged to a Troll tribe known as the Bonecrusher Clan, part of the Troll Empire. At the time, they had been driven here by the High Elf Kingdom and settled down.
However, one day, a group of mysterious people descended from the sky and occupied the Bonecrusher Clan's Sanctuary. The latter naturally tried to drive out the invaders, only to be slaughtered by them instead. The survivors were also enslaved by the invaders, who began renovating their Sanctuary. Although the invaders spoke a language the Trolls couldn't understand, one of the Trolls was rather clever and secretly learned a little of it.
Based on what that Troll overheard, the group of invaders seemed to have stolen something and was being relentlessly pursued. To avoid being chased down, they decided to hide the object on this planet first and block its signal. That way, their pursuer wouldn't be able to find it. They would leave this place for the time being, then secretly return to retrieve the object after the pursuer had gone.
The reason they had chosen the Troll Sanctuary seemed to be that some kind of energy here could block and interfere with the signal emitted by the object.
Naturally, the Trolls weren't willing to be enslaved just like that. They had also devised their own plan...
This information was like manna from heaven to Brann, and he promptly issued an order.
Keep digging!
Dwarfs were naturally experts at digging tunnels. Everyone dug for an entire day, and finally, they broke through the collapsed passage.
What appeared before them was a vast hollow.
Judging from the decorative style around them, this place clearly belonged to the Trolls. But
